This is real music for true audiophiles. Bang & Olufsen purist. Howard is so sensual with Stanley killing that bass. Lyrically and musically pure ecstasy.
This has a classic 80’s vibe which nothing today can match. This was when talent existed in singing, composing and playing instruments! Wish someone would invent a time machine to bring the 80’s music back for good! 😎
21 years old, a DJ, not only have to listen to but have to play the new crap in the charts.... Why do you think I'm here after my weekend of gigs? Everything about this tune is beautiful.
OMG I Miss my husband sooh much!! he died May 4th, 7 my life will Never be the Same..he was my EVERYtHING!!!! Rest In Peace My Love..Forever you'll be embedded in my heart!
This song bring back so many memories! What a cut. You can't go wrong with this one. Stanley Clark, George Duke and Howard Hewitt on vocals... Priceless!!! 🎶🎵🎤🎼😘
The amount of world class musicians on this track is mind blowing! Hearing Jeff Beck, Stanley Clarke, Howard Hewitt and George Duke all together is simply amazing.
Over 30 years later and this song still give me chills as it did when I was 19 yrs.old. My all time favorite track by the amazing and unsung Howard Hewett.
I agree with you, its why I came here to hear this great classic.... You don't hear this song anymore on the radio.... February 12th, 2015.... One of Howard's greatest hits.......
enmaxus I totally agree with you... Since my teens age when I was 16 years old until now even in Thailand... Endless peasure to listen yet such wonderful hit...
this is by far the best version! Howie sings his ass off, while Mr. Clark nd Mr. Duke ripping the hell out them instruments. damn I been feeling this since my childhood.
When I saw this live Howard Hewett was having some legal troubles and Kenny G performed his part on the sax. Pretty nice show in San Francisco at the Kabuki.
This entire song is all heart & soul-you can feel it large!!. I remember Stanley saying one time his bass never sounded better than this album, and I would have to agree. I could listen to just his powerful accentuating bass work from 5:08-5:38 all day long!!
My daughter grow listening to type of grand music. She's 35...she always say...Mamaaaa thanks so much for rising me with this style of music never had I've heard that burns so deep in one's soul. Oooh weee
gerald cook I play this in my grave and at night, I invite all the women in the cemetery to come and drink the blood of humans on my tombstone.. We always play this song..😱😲😲😲😲😲
LOVE this song. Howard has one of the, if not THE best voice.....swear he could sing the phone book and he'd make that sound sexy😉....Stanley and the Late Great George are awesome in this track as well. This is such a beautiful song....
I haven't heard this song in about twenty years. It still sounds good It brings back good memories. Real music! Blessed music. We are living truely in the last days. Let us enjoy the beauty of times past. They won't let it be again, ....but We remember!
Exceptionally beautiful, music. I love the delivery, the message, it just blows away almost everything being played today. It would be a big hit today.
His voice draws me near. My heart likens to it. My spirit is encompassed by it. It brings feelings to my physical being. I listen, feel, dance to his voice. I am grateful Howard shares his gift with us. We are all connected through his music and that's a good thing. Love you Howard Hewett. 💜💙
OK before I start I know some of you may classify this under the "there's good music in every decade" response, but I have to argue that at least as far as R&B, smooth jazz, etc. is concerned, no decade in modern music history has produced so much great music. Just the fact that these 3 guys (Clarke, Duke, and Hewitt) whom were, at the time of this recording, probably at the top of they're respective games is a testament to the incredible output of high quality music all through the 80s.
Listening to KISS 98 Night Flight every weekday night. I was 19 when this song came out. They played this song alot. I love this record. They dont make music like this any more. These were the day when you could turn on the radio and hear nothing but good music like this all day, every day.
@@jamheaven6468 Damion Baldwin is totally right! These musicians live there instruments and sounds but most of the times the "today" generation sees their musical performance only for becoming a star. Music tracks have to be perfect sounds without any mistakes or a self instrumentation! Tracks are built on experiences of the past without any own development!
I feel grateful & blessed that im still here to share great musucal memories attached to precious loved ones...A God given gift to HH who shared it amoungst appreciators.. I thank you x
The Lord has sent my good friend Ian George to heaven! Please bless him and his family right now and for evermore! Knuff Respect Ian George & Georgia G + their families 😇🌹🚹🚺👋🌴🌵🌛🌞 this tuune is just fitting, going out to all those who new Ian G, this one's 4u Bruv R.I.P. collaboration of some great Artists, what a cut!! 🎻🎷🎼🎵🎶🎤🎹🎸🔊.🙋😇 〽uzik! That touches the spot!!
this song popped into my head this morning, and I was compelled to play it. I wasn't much of of a ballads person when I was younger. a slow jam had to really strike me in order to slow both my mind and body long enough to enjoy it, and allow myself to go with thr flow. now in my 50s those songs are a lot more special, as they bring back wonderful, wonderful memories of being young (er) in a much nicer era. yes, next to some of those ballads back in those days, this too was one of my favorites. thank you.
This song takes me to that special place; my dream world; Dreaming that my special man has came into my life and change my world :) . He's my king and I am his queen: and we are on the dance floor; holding each other tight; and we are stepping to this song' and we could dance all night ; him and i all alone. I love the lyrics: one day he will come :)
