Former Respect MP George Galloway objects to questions put to him over his role in the EU referendum. The London mayoral candidate said the questioning by Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics was indicative of a "childish discourse" in the EU referendum campaign, focusing on personalities rather than policies.
Querying when the interview would move on to substantial differences of opinion between the camps, he said: "Every question you have asked has been about me."

Sometimes you have to raise your voice to be heard..otherwise you will be bullied...the BBC are great at turning an interview into a slug fest and they didn't get anywhere near that here with George galloway...

Never liked Galloway, but this smug, condescending interviewer was despicable. Managed to make this about the politics of personality about the issues, and wasted our time as well as his. I know nothing more about the issues, but I am now convinced that the BBC is no longer worthy of state enforced funding, collected from the public under threat of violence. End the licence.

I agree. And I think it is one of the main reason that the remain side lost. They spent their entire time fighting the leave side rather than addressing the actual issue. When the time came to vote, the leave side had a big list of reasons that they had been arguing, and the remain side had a bunch of interviews with the remain side chatting about nonsense.

The thing that is most wrong with this video is not Galloways comments, but the videos chosen title and BBCs belief that this somehow showcases a good case to stay in the EU by attacking Galloway. Not only that but this upload is missing the vital context that evoked such a response from George. This is straight up propaganda due to this.

George Galloway really doesn’t do any favours with his aggressive prickly manner. Mick Lynch shows far better how to argue a case. The interviewer was fairly patient and the fact of him and Galloway sharing a joint platform was very valid.

how come George and Nigel talk plain sense and are lambasted by the bbc and others. if all the political classes answered honestly then politics would be much easier.
