Workers Party Britain MP George Galloway on Wednesday made a fiery speech in the parliament to mock British democracy as he drew the attention of parliamentarians to the challenges facing the world.
This is democracy. An empty parliament ! A picture tells a thousand words. People, wise up to the truth even if it blinds you - there is no such thing as 'democracy' ! Listen ! Ancient Athens would speak to our world. Let me interpret what she says - 'Our oligarchs and demagogues stole our democracy, and left us defenseless in the face of our enemies. Your oligarchs and demagogues have done the same to you. Learn from our fall , before your enemies within and your enemies without , lay waste to your kingdom.'
There never was a “democracy” here - the media have never been free either and within EVERY media outlet there IS a government “security” advisor who decides what the public can and cannot see or learn from their “news”….it’s all a lie of huge proportions.
It shows that our representatives have no interest in facing truths or hold any empathy for the people they serve ! At least George shows some passion in his words ,he is what an MP should be like .The number of views on Moats proves it !
@@michaelallen5993it occurs to me that I may have been brainwashed against him historically in the same way that many are still brainwashed against Corbyn.
@@MrRayong-yv4twyou’re paying these MPs to do a job. If they’re not turning up to Parliament, they’re taking you for a mug. If you don’t care, then they are correct.
I am 75 years of age and have always considered George Galloway to be correct in his views. He has proved, time and again, to be on the right side of history. Shame on all the fifth rate MPs in Westminster who try to ignore or belittle him.
Are you jealous of his wealth or don’t you like his skin colour?,we don’t elect Prime Minister’s in this country we elect political parties and the Conservative Party we’re elected to form a government,we didn’t elect Gordon Brown but you seem to have forgotten that
I am not British and neither do I live in Britain, but I do have a very healthy respect for George Galloway's sharpened opinions, no matter what others think of him 🤔. Regrettably, men like George don't come in twos and threes then I'd be even more sorry for certain British politicians.
The problem facing George Galloway, is that he speaks in a language that only people with integrity, intelligence and humanity can understand. ~ And unfortunately there’s not enough of those living among us ~ YET
You clearly have never watched British politics. And why should any other mp care what George Galloway has to say? Also while we are on being absent. Why has he been absent even during the gaza questions in commons? isn't that not the ticket he ran on?
His third week in Parliament and yet the cowardly House Speaker has not the courtesy to give GG a forum to even make his maiden speech on the floor of the Commons. What democracy, more like North Korea.
@@Nsibidiimohtep-pf9gh my local MP has ditched tory to be independent, you watch if elected he will move back to his old tory mates and vote with them and be no different. We need totally new people not just an independent but brand new faces with zero parliamentary time served, and no party affliations in their recent past. Otherwise we get independents who were all tories or labour or others in the parliament. WE NEED NEW BLOOD NOT OLD TORIES OR LABOUR WHO ARE NOW INDEPENDANTS, BUT NEW FACE INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES IN PARLIAMENT.
Cannot believe people would vote for MPs who never seem to their debating anything. Time to vote off!!! Well said Sir, you talk the talk and your beginning to walk the walk. They need more of you and lets see you on TV more.
The MPs may be absenting themeselves so as not to hear some hard truths but thanks to RU-vid the public, the voters, are able to hear the Honourbale George Galloway MP honouring his mandate.
What are our British Values? If I don't particularly agree with those values, am I any less British or due less representation if I find some problematic?
We badly need a lot more Galloways to tell us and all the fanatic war monger criminals the truth and the reality that their treacherous actions are leading us to the final destruction of humanity, full respect to Mr Galloway.
Says nothing about England the conspirator class in Westminster are the culprits, the only thing it says about England is that we do not have the balls to support our own country.
Galloway should be in a padded cell, with a straight jacket on, to keep him warm. He's a crackpot. In saying that, the westminster mob should be in the cells next to him. They are all self serving hypocrites.
Another truly magnificent speech from George and without any notes whatsoever! The empty chamber in such an important debate is a witness to the country that our MP's are an utter disgrace who shame the people who gave them their vote and who trusted them to serve with honour at all times of import!
I think you will find every new MP struggles to find an audience. The Maiden speeches of new Tories and Labour MPs at least get fellow party members to listen. George has no party members there to support him & will not have if people vote Labour this year.
@@lena-Ramone So what you’re saying is- most of the people who make our laws surrounding the mentally ill- are seriously mentally ill themselves? Interesting..

George gallowy is a Hamas supporter ,he has been involved with them for years and has been involved with thier leadership. He is a traitor to the british democracy and only wants a commie republic by any means possible.
A lot of people don't like George Galloway, however, he raises an interesting point. David Cameron was admitted to the cabinet when he was neither an MP nor a Lord, he was made a peer of the realm after his appointment as Foreign Secretary on the other hand George Galloway was elected as an MP for Rochdale with and overwhelming majority much to the chagrin of the Tory Party. Taking out the personalities, which one of the two has a true mandate?
Like in the German Bundestag: Empty Parliament when important issues has to be discussed! Strange democracies, like big holes! Mr.Galloway is the great exception, takes his mandat seriously!!!
@@capabilitybrown2323Yet, here, he is absolutely showing more 'Integrity' than we have seen from the front row of MP'S from both leading parties put together! From your argument of 'integrity' how do you explain this?
And all in partnership with the WEF, who, g7 and more Look at all those empty seats. Disgusting, MPs not doing jobs. Best to fill the seats with the public, who have real interest in Britain and it's people.
The empty seats....the empty minds...this has always been the British from the top to the bottom. Absolute cowards, killers, colonizers, pirates and thieves.....That is why the very respected George Galloway is talking to an empty chamber. Which is honest...for even if it were full...it would still be empty. Thank you Mr. Galloway, sir. From India.
@@ishmaelforester9825 Embarrassing for whom? For the "British Capitalists" who never actually went to war but "conquered" other nations by sending the British plebs abroad to do their dirty work? What's truly embarrassing is that Humankind has not yet learned how to make peace...
@capabilitybrown2323 he is smarter than all the MPs combined. George stood his ground and fight against injustices. The world loves him and he is a good person to help Britain built relationships and economy. I really think he is the only person capable of helping the Uk citizens at this points.
George Galloway is right about one thing, there are far too many unelected people in our country. Firstly, there is the matter on the monarchy, (which should be abolished) NOBODY ever voted them into that position, they proclaimed themselves Kings and Queens, and those who opposed them were quickly slaughtered. This has been going on for thousands of years, even today, they have NO LEGAL rights to be in that position, and should anyone bring that up in the House of commons, which NEVER be allowed, you can be should they would be dealt with severely. I regress, back to unelected officials, we have Gordon Brown, Theresa May, Elizabeth Truss, and now Rishi Sunak, all unelected PMs by the people, and don’t forget unknown Humza Yousaf also unelected as FM. Did we really ever have a democracy in this country, I no longer believe in that. Why have the likes of the traitor Tony Blair, David Cameron, and a few others who were ousted years ago being allowed back into politics? Our entire country has become so corrupt that we are no longer a democracy. We really are on the verge of a revolution, a French style revolution, where head WILL roll. Has any of the politicians ever watch the video on RU-vid about a speech where Oliver Cromwell demeaned all the members, by calling them corrupt, whore mongers, just before he dissolved parliament, the speaker of the House should show this video in the house of commons. NOTHING has change since that great speech.
Isn't it their divine connection to the God of the Anglican Church? They are the only ones with the direct link and connection and can interpret his wishes, which are for them to hold the power and their properties not be subject to any taxation, but instead the subjects to provide their labor for maintenance and upkeep and a bit of discretionary spending. Not a Brit myself, just watched the Queen on Netflix, so maybe I misunderstood.
No one even turned up. British democracy alive and kicking. Thank you GG for giving people a voice. Nigel Farrage were talking, the whole house would be there. Says it all.
If there were not the sozial media, no one would know what G. Galloway says, the parliament is empty. That shows the desinterest of the english parlamentarians on the subject. It makes me sad.
I thought it was a British parliament? english?...? But! Youse english think in your small privileged brains that only yous exist on this island. Even though the Scottish and Welsh were long here on this island before yous english immigrants!
When the truth is involved, only the walls are allowed to hear it. Power has a problem with the truth. To me its a clear sign of just how rotten WEFminster now is.
May i use a football analogy , if the people of Britain were allowed to elect their own team then Britain would be strong in every position and win every game.We have school boy players in our parliment . But this is not a game .The people of Britain are in danger , they now have a massive target on their backs . Shame on our pathetic leaders for being absent during this talk .
Thankyou George Galloway - I learned something today!! What a shambles! Long may Mr Galloway continue - a lone but powerful voice in a sea of weakness and lethargy.
Laws fall silent in times of war. Laws are written by hypocrites. “if you don't punish lying in your political leaders, then why should they stop lying?” ― George Galloway
All those governments MPs must talk among themselves about not turning up to parliamentary questions the day before, because they know our George Galloway will be speaking that day. Shameful how they treat our George Galloway and other.
More eloquent and apposite oratory from George Galloway who tears the Tory government to shreds - it makes you think that selecting an unelected Foreign Secretary is deliberate in order to ensure there can be no questioning of the UK Foreign policy decisions

Labour are as complicit as the Tories in their contempt for the British voter. Both parties conspire to ignore the electorate. Both parties engage in manipulation. Both parties are happy to ignore the electorate and even rubbish the outcomes of an election. Both parties fail to uphold democracy and both parties need a lesson.
Spot on with conspiracy theory like it's a possible future. He's behind the times on the state of the nation and a proponent of agenda 21. What is untenable is the survival of global politics before looking what's happening just outside their own front door. Community dissolved.
Where is Parliament? Have most of them now been sufficiently paid to go work their Corporate masters rather than their democratic electorate? It seems so.
All those empty seats say it all, the man may as well be talking to himself is this not how the voices of the people up and down this land are ignored, the other MP's can turn their faces, run away and hide and close their ears but we the people can hear him.
You must all vote independent or green. Watch Owen jones , he’s left the Labour Party, with good reason. Bet the guardian drops him . The establishment don’t like to hear the truth. Barb

I can hear millions of voices up and down the country echoed through GG as he spits facts on our behalf, right in the seat of power. Right where they don't want him. And right where we need him.
We foolishly tell the world that Great Britain is the seat of democracy, how foolish do we look. I have often asked the question “Who is running this country when Prime Ministers can be changed at the whim of these invisible people” I have yet to get a reply.
Great Jorge. We all hear you, we all admire the truth. It is really sad that almost all other MPs are not even listening to this. They either most do actually know the truth and are unable to listen to it, or obviously don't even care. Great that this democracy at least lets him speak fur us and all otger citizens who have voting power. Let's await what the next election reveals? I have hope!
2024 is not about who is on the left , right or who is liberal, it is about what feels right and what feels wrong and Mr Galloway is an important voice of integrity in our survival as a Country. I will listen to him rather than ANY member of the cabinet or the opposition.
Cameron was literally head of the Conservative party when they won their election. We also do not have the facility to vote for PM in this country, and we don't want one either because that's personality politics like the US's fucked up system. The issue with our democracy is: 1. The voting public do not properly hold our elected ministers to task. We mostly vote in based on rosette colour and pay no attention after that. 2. FPTP as a voting method means that the people are less accurately represented in Parliament.
