Never, ever, stop being astonished by London. As many times as I heard him, I am always mesmerized by his voice, color, presence, line, dramatics, high notes, low notes...etc. There have to be voices like his today, I am fairly sure, but the people in charge of deciding who sings and who doesn't don't like these kind of voices. They like voices that approach the talking sound. And they are killing this wonderful art. Thanks God we have London' recordings.
who is the charlatan that calls him a ' big talent, a very big talent'? he was an absolute artist and well beyond being catalogued as a mere 'big talent' London is one of the greatest ever.
