These two - I remember way back like 15+ years ago my dad (who is Mexican and lives in Mexico still) said he liked Iglesias but did not appreciate George Lopez because he made fun of Mexicans in a derogatory way, whereas Iglesias poked fun in a more loving appreciative of their quirks way.

Iglesias also played one of the most famous negative stereotypical characters of Mexicans(as the character in the cartoons has episodes as mexicans as rats that are filthy, poor, lustfull and always sleeping). Just happy they are both cool with each other.
