This live performance was in january 1991. This was during this concert who he mets his first lover has a gay man, Anselmo Fellepa, the man who made him a huge part of his life. Six months after he starting to dating Anselmo, Anselmo discovers to have AIDS and he died in february 1993. Later, after his death, George wrote ''Jesus to a Child'' has a memory of Anselmo and he made a view of the AIDS crisis in the song. Also, the tour was supposed to promoted his second album ''Listen Without Prejudice'', but instead this was a tour who he sing all his favorites songs and performed only four songs of the album during the tour (notably ''Freedom 90'')

It was nominated for an Oscar (Best Song), but lost to "I Had The Time Of My Life" (Bill Medley, "Dirty Dancing")..... - ....the tune has become a STANDARD for anyone who can SING, and hold loooooooong notes..Oleta Adams has the Best version of this Song....she HAD to cover it, because many People thought the Girl (who sings it with George) was HER! ...A classic Song, sung by the One & ONLY.....(7:08) ......he LOVED this Song.....

I love this one. It gives me goosebumps every time. George Michael loved songs like this. He could sink his teeth in and really tear it up. This was at the Rock In Rio II,I believe. Testing my memory here. He does an awesome duet on De La Soul's Back To Life. This entire concert was magical.

Great Reaction, Empress! This is such a classic song from the quirky 80s movie ' Bagdad Cafe' it was reimagined as a short lived series starring Whoopie Goldberg. It was too quirky for its time but please watch the movie. George knew how to pick the classics. It was on his ' 5 Live cd. Another song was a duet with Lisa Stansfield. A Queen cover. ' These Were The Days Of Our lives' stay hot Mama !❤❤❤

This song is another emotionally connected song, along with yesterday’s Shoshana Bean reaction. Just the opening piano notes played anywhere makes you stop and listen because of the vocal chops this song requires and deserves. Javeeta Steele originated this song for the indie film Baghdad cafe. This song paired with that movie is a tear inducing masterpiece. This was never a duet before George. Javeeta sings both parts, it’s impressive. The song was most recently done by Patti LuPone for the NYC season of American Horror Story. Two for two vocal winners so far this month! Thank you again for the graduation shout out!
