Not much familiar with Mr. Strait, but definitely Number One fan of Mr. Alan Jackson, such a blast seeing him here with Mr. Strait, who I gotta get more into my ears! :😁👍
saw"the legend" at cheyenne frontier days ,what a class act,for a short guy he put on a good show and can sing too, ,i was a big fan of his then and after the end of the show everyone wanted an encore, so (we got 2)i told the gf he will sing "cross my heart" she said why do you say that . i told her its the only song he hasnt sung yet!!! and sure enough he did , the guy in front of us was kinda annoyed at us talking during the concert but was amazed when i said that ,and george sang it . made a believer out of him .noone will ever match george!!!
@@georgestrait7293 since the mid 80's....dont mean to be derogatory about the "short" part ,but was expecting you to be taller.. country music today just isnt the same as it used to be , there is no heart and soul to it , or maybe you played it with more passion???
FORSURE! George Is CLASS!! And what makes him even more of a Classy Guy, Is he is not afraid to give GOD the THANKS and GLORY! For his career. THAT IS CLASS! GodBless you George.🙏
Thank you, Mr. Strait. That is one group of the finest entertainers in Country music. Then you sing, "Cowboy Rides Away." Icing on the cake to such a beautiful performance. GOD surely has blessed us with all the greats.
"Heroes get remembered, but legends never die," - Babe Ruth. There are a lot of legends up on that stage but this was George's tour and you can tell everyone on stage has respect for him and he has respect for everyone else on stage. Miranda's bawling. George and Miranda's relationship is kind of like the one that Randy Travis has with Carrie Underwood. 2 legends in their own right with great respect for one another.
how absolutely amazing of George Strait, He has a stage that rotates so everyone can see him and not just his side and back!!!! Hey all other performers, learn from this!! Theres a reason why he has over 60+ #1 hits!!! God bless this Man!!!
That's the problem, George, never want to let you go! Your voice is just right, it's a cool summer breeze, sitting on the patio, the Texas stars are twinkling, and the company is good! Thanks for all your wonderful music!
I'm a big city guy all my life, 73 now, was never into country music much, but lately I've been listening to this kind of stuff and like it more and more. I think it's brings out the true musical aspect of the country without any external interference, don't know what I just said, but I hope anyone who reads this understands, greetings from Chicago...................
I get you, I’m 58 been playing in rock bands for 40 year……hated country music, now I really love a bunch of the songs. I prefer the more upbeat ones but a few of this style ain’t bad either. Guess it’s true you mellow with age. The sea of absolutely beautiful wholesome looking women in the crowd ain’t bad either 🤤
This is just about as good as it gets in my opinion. 11 superstars all together. When George works his way down for the genuine hugs it always makes me get a tad misty...
My God, this was real country music. A LITTLE MEXICAN GIRL TRYIN TO FIT IN WITH High School FFA CLUB, CLASS OF 1990. THANK you country music for your music. 🎶🎸🎼🍺🍹
@George Strait Mr. Straight, thank you very much for your reply! I’m more than honored!! I have been your fan for fifteen years. “All My Exes Live In Texas” got me deeper into it!!
This makes my heart so happy! George Strait has held my heart since I was a toddler singing "Fireman" out of the window of my mama's truck! I also watched him rope on a gray mare at the Mesquite Rodeo when I was a kid. I just love this man!
Vince Gill is a boss. He’s the best guitarist on that stage by a country mile, but he doesn’t even feel he has to show up with a guitar. Humble. He knows his place.
Every singer on that stage is singing that song like they have sang it all their lives because they have. I loved growing up with George and all the rest of these singers. My wife and I have taken George on many a date night;-)
Thanks for the great love and support you show me as a special fan of mine, I hope you won't stop listening to music, and thanks for your sincere Compliment and love towards my music❤️❤️may god bless you.
@@georgestrait478 Along time ago in the 80s when I lived in Nashville. I worked at Pearl Drums back in the day when Walt Johnston was the President of Pearl Drums. I knew back then, You were indeed, A Force! In the music industry! George my dear, YOU ARE! The Whole Package!!! And ALL! Of us fans, LOVE YOU! 💖💯💋🙏
@@debrabuckley7963 Thank you for being a fan of my music!. I would love to add you to my special fan group where you get to know more about my concerts and my ongoing meet and greet
Amen George what an amazing video I can't say it over and over again listen to the crowd continue singing playing making music with all your friends you take My breath away you're amazing always Patricia
Love this. George is such a class act. This grouping of fantastic people he calls friends is proof of that. I wish I had seen the whole show. It saddens me to see George saying good bye. Thank you for keeping Country classy and thank you for all the great music that will live on forever continuing to stir the emotions of your fans.
I have never seen this. Wonderful. I grew up listening to George Straight Greatest Hits Volume II, I say grew up but it was my teenage years. Yep, if you are thinking something nefarious then you are on the right trail. I have lost two of those that I ran with. I think of them now and the wonderful times we had. Good luck and God Bless you all.
George Strait, he is absolutely terrific. Love hearing him sing and that smile of his is awesome and so sexy. My play list is filled with his songs and I listen to them every day. Wished I was one of those girls getting hugs from him.
I am not well Bubba. I'M 70 YEARS OLD AND I HAVE A LOT OF THINGS WRONG WITH MY BODY. I TAKE LIFE ONE DAY AT A TIME.......ONE OF MY BIGGEST DREAMS HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE HONOR AND PRIVILEGE TO MEET YOUR DAD. HE IS AN AMAZING MAN. I LOVE HIM IN THE LORD. PLEASE TELL HIM THAT THIS POOR OLD COUNTRY LADY SURE WOULD LIKE TO GIVE HIM A HUG AND TO PLEASE TAKE CARE OF HIMSELF. THANK HIM FOR ALL THE JOY HE HAS BROUGHT INTO MY LIFE WITH HIS SONGS. GOD RICHLY BLESS HIM AND YOU. MARSHA MASSENGALE
@@bubbastrait2754 I am diabetic with a bad heart and I have lived through 4 strokes and a heart attack among other things. My dream has been to meet George for many years. But I don't have a car and the doctor won't let me drive anymore. I have to depend on U.C.H.R.A. THE COUNTY BUS. ALL MY FAMILY IS DEAD NOW TOO. I HAVE NOBODY. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME. GOD BLESS YOU
WOW! With Ray Benson! I met Ray in west Texas when I was younger; when my (at that time) Father-in law was a doorman/bouncer at a west Texas bar in Midland /Odessa Texas and let their buses park in front of his house to be remote and plug-in while doing venues that paid for gas, and the band, but not for motels (you remember the day's!) He was really cool, but tired and just wanted to move on. And I just missed Willie and his crew about a week later, but got to see him pull away. At the time Junior Brown was the headliner out there, and I got to go see the show free, but Junior was relatively new and you were the headliner across the country (even at your age). GOOD times and good memories that cannot be replaced, or related with the feelings they deserve to the new generation. You will become a legend when we are gone. I just hope some youngsters in the future will appreciate and see the times when climbing the ladder wasn't all on youtube.
Great entertaining from George and I was rebuilding a restaurant in Greune Hall about 25 years ago and found a lot of his old tickets and memorabilia under the stage Lol.
@@georgestrait9691 I have enjoyed your music for around 35 years and like I said was doing some electrical contracting building restaurants around New Braunfels and I am from East Texas.
