This week we have a great down wind sail through some surprisingly big seas and make landfall at Emerald Bay Marina in Great Exuma. We use the marina as a hub for our explorations of Great Exuma and Little Exuma as well as a place close enough to the airport to make sure our crew gets home on time! We visit the sailing cruiser hot spot of Chat 'n Chill where over 400 boats were on anchor at the time of our arrival! We also explore (PDG Adventure's style) George Town and go as far south as our rental car will take us, making stops at Mom's Bakery, Santana's, and Haulover Bay Bar & Grill. Its a walking, driving, eating and drininking, pub crawl tour of George Town, Exuma and all of Great Exuma as well. Its a feast for the eyes as we explore the Capitol of the Exumas!

Congratulations on the subscriber's. Some of those waves looked pretty decent so probably bigger from your point of view. The water looks spectacular, and as for those drinks where are ours, they looked awesome. Oh and doesn't Winston have a big appetite is it a problem storing it. And no the controls of the car are on the correct side, what is weird is when you drive on the opposite side which next week I have a 880 mile drive thru Europe which is on the wrong side (to us), Didn't realise it took so long to edit a vid, keep the hard work its appreciated.

Thank you! And, yes, I don't think there is a great way to show just how big the waves are unless they are REALLY BIG! Oh, my yes, Winston does eat quite a bit. We have an entire additional freezer and storage area just for his provisions. We can keep about 60 days of meat frozen for him and about 3-6 months of his dry goods at one time. The driving certainty was fun! What's extra crazy is that most of the cars are still "left side" drive, even though they drive on the left side! The Bahamians make do with what they got better than most I'd say!

Congratulations on the 1000 subscriber goal. Onward to 10,000!!! with the great vlogs you produce. Love the authenticity. Any details on the Nordic? compass red markings on your mast? I understand that before you went off the grid sailing - you were a chef. Would love to see several videos on what you provision, what you like to make when eating onboard -please share. Would make a nice adjunct to your outstanding travel vlogs.

Thank you for the wonderful comment! The Nordic compass was on the mast at the time of purchase and we've been too busy to dig into it honestly... 🤣. Yes, Daniel was a Chef for almost 15 years before hanging it up and moving into the corporate life. We have been looking at adding some more "cooking on board" segments/bits to our videos, seems to be a collective curiosity around it.

Once again, beautiful video. sad for you that your friends left but I'm sure they'll come back ;) From what I've seen, bars and restaurants from those islands are everything but cheap... what about the marinas to leave the boat? Already looking forward for your next video! Enjoy for all of us!

Thank you! We're already deep in the planning phase for our next adventure with our "crew"😄. As for the bars and restaurants it really kinda depends. Surprisingly Chat n' Chill was extremely affordable, but we have been to a few that were as overpriced as they were overrated. Marinas do tend to vary quite a bit. So far Norman's Cay Marina has been the most expensive place we've ever stayed, but we've loved our time there. Emerald Bay was quite affordable by comparison and while we were there we met several people who kept their boats there during the "off season". I suppose it all depends on what your needs and budget are (as in all things).
