Please Show respect to Michael Bisping as he was willing to put it all on the line for our entertainment.
Bispings a douche. Its revisionist history to think hes decent lol. Look at him vs hendo or anyone. Hes always an ass and was a terrible ducking MW champ.
@@anthonyantmanedwardsisbett8197 Because some of them are. But guess what? Jon Jones is one of the biggest heels in the sport history, not cringy and guess what he's black. Quit race baiting
Benjamin pretty sure it was based off the timing of his 1st retirement and suspicions usada had at the time, but since gsp has said his retirement wasn't a way of dodging testing
reviewloop And thats an excuse? He entered the octagon, he knew what he was doing. You wanna make excuses for him and his eye? Even bisping didnt make excuses, so he doesnt need your goofy ass defending his honor
Imagine spending your whole career to win a title and then someone from a lower weight class comes out of a 4 year retirement and literally chokes your title out of you.
chuimon slp IMO, allowing a limb to be broken is more idiotic than heroic/brave/whatever you want to call it. You can recover from being choked out, especially when the ref immediately stops the fight, but a broken limb will never be the same again.
@@jsnlee186 Oh dude you are totally preaching to the choir, yes that's stupid, a choke out is seconds when you go limp a broken arm or leg is a freakin' long while.
@k c you don't start to get brain damage until about 4 minutes of oxygen deprivation, so loosing blood flow for a few seconds isn't terribly dangerous. These are professional athletes surrounded by doctors. They'll be alright.
tapping to a rnc is soft... lmao i fuckin love coach potato mma fan that never even rolled or put a pair of gloves telling you whats soft and whats hard
Besir666 this guy is joking about when gsp came into the octagon during a Matt Hughes post fight interview and said “I’m not impressed with your performance” he’s not referring to the Bisping fight lol
In fairness to Bisping, that super man punch, spinning back kick, and looping elbow strikes from GSP were not part of the predictable jab-jab-takedown gameplan GSP usually incorporates.
Bisping was doing fine until he was dropped with a shot on his blind side! Absolute warrior and fought clean his whole career and with one eye against some absolute killers. Big respect to both legends.
Couldn't agree more Ashley, perfectly written..... Next? Do we get Khabib? I hope so, and I hope not. So confused as a gigantic GSP fan. This Paulo Costa fight should scratch itches. But, damn. can we at least pretend to hide the roids.
Hit the nail on the head both warriors followed mike since he was brought into the lime light on TUF done the UK proud and he never backed down from anyone he talked shit then backed it and GSP also been a great competitor and warrior both have brought fight fans from all around the world some fantastic fights was gutted to see Bisping loose but he fought hard and done himself proud
@@abeedhal6519 humbled implies a sort of... embarrassment. And that’s the farthest thing from what happened. Even George has credited Mike as being the toughest person he’s ever competed against. There was no humble pie in this one, just all around gained mutual respect.
Yea I mean most of them aren't serious but you wont just get famous in the ufc by being good you have to create a character that's entertaining and fun to get behind and people love shit talking especially when its backed up
I read his book and he says it was all just for the hype, they even saw each other after a press conference in the bathroom and laughed about what was said
George: “Thank you for the support, we make a living because of you guys.” That’s literally the most honest statement I’ve heard from an interview moments after the fight
I've never been a huge GSP fan, but the way he fought with killer instinct in this fight really got me hyped. This is one of my top 10 favorite MMA fights of all time.
@@militaryjunkie6207 Of course he will never fight like Khabib...because everyone is different and so their style is different. I think what you meant to say is that he would never be as great as Khabib. Well then...there's only one way to find out...hopefully next year these two will square off in the octagon!
@@simcosimpai8471 yeah bisping had broken ribs and no painkillers. Gsp hadn't eaten a morsel of food for a whole day. Two crippled fighters putting up an amazing show. This is why I dislike talking trash about fighters on social media, because they endure far more than we think
Imagine you walk into the ring, ref is about to start the fight. Venom by GHOSTEMANE starts playing. Memories of all the shit you talked fill your mind.
@@jamesbailand4311 no because he know why he was saying those things.. As he know it was only to promote fight.. He said it himself in joe rogan podcast..
Mafnificent editing. That transition into the fight with the beats fading in... And then you cut straight to the walk in. Gave me the chills. Great job!!!
God, this made my horrible day turn better. Thank you for adding all of the pre-fight drama, it only added to the feeling both of them must've had when it was over.
There are two routes: you speak humbly, or you get humbled after talking shit. There's a lot of reward for talking shit and winning. If you talk shit and lose, you just get a video, it's not that bad lol
GSP is a Canadian hero. Nothing but class and skill. He doesn’t talk shit. He shuts loud mouths down with his actions in the octagon. Proud to share a last name with this man. I wouldn’t ever even pretend I’ve ever been in a fight that was even remotely close to this, but the one thing I do remember from wrestling/boxing in high school was that the guys who ran their mouths the most were incredibly scared deep down, and if you can just push through, even when you’re completely exhausted you can win through sheer determination. If you stay calm and keep pushing through, you’ll find an opening or a weakness in your opponent if they have weight, strength, or reach advantage. I’ll never be a pro fighter and I would never pretend that I’m some tough guy, but I’ve also learned that people who talk about how tough they are, are usually the most afraid. It’s classic intimidating behaviour, that almost all male primates exhibit. It’s easier to frighten away a challenger with false bravado, than actually put it all on the line. The best guys I ever boxed/wrestled were cool headed, and we’d just test each other’s endurance and skill, without any animosity or anger. The best boxer I ever sparred with was the most gentle guy you could ever meet. Braggadocio is a result of fear and insecurity. You should be much more afraid of the guy who says nothing, cause he’s gonna go to work on you.
