Kind of, though I feel bad saying that because it's great they have so much school spirit and clearly they are very energized to come out and support the team. I'm not sure if those Gymnasties (they have girls now too) are actually bothering the visiting team. If they are, then that is definitely not good, and not sportsmanlike, and the coach should tell them to tone it down. As a visiting gymnast, I don't think I would enjoy it that much but I guess it's good practice for postseason. I'm wondering whether they will continue with this level of boisterousness when Suni and Derrian are no longer part of the team.
@dronesclubhighjinks I agree that it’s great to support their team but it definitely feels like it’s an intimidation tactic for the visiting team. Just my perspective though. Also the rest of the crowd barely even claps for the other team. Just strange is all. 🤷🏻♀️
When these teams collide it's all out war. So much to love but wish Georgia would quit it with the black leotards. They need to introduce red and maybe some white or grey if they don't like so much red.
Um, I'm with the judge who did not throw a 10 for Suni's bars. Yes it's lovely, but that landing was not a stick. Side note, why is she leaving Auburn after 2 years instead of combining her elite skills and Olympic preparation with what they do in college -- as are several other young ladies?
I think its cause she got the gold last year and if Simone doesn't compete she has a good chance of getting gold again and really wants to focus on that
@@person3506 definitely sounds like putting all her eggs in one basket but go her -- and I realize it's a big deal. Then again, so is being an ncaa queen!
@@herzchen666 combining ncaa/olympic training sounds like it'll be too much on her body. probably doable, but why risk an injury by overdoing it. Suni has never ruled out making a comeback to the elite, so many aren't surprised by her decision to leave auburn. also, disagree with "putting her egg in one basket", that kinda insinuates that she has something to lose, but she doesn't. She already achieved the highest medal you can get as a gymnast.
sorry guys i have to ask as EU person, gobourne major is apparel merchandising? what in the gods name is that lmao makes no sense for that to be a major lol is this one of those majors that are there to be given to athletes so they can just you know ... "attend" .. classes and just be an athelete for the college in the sport they are good at?
I think apparel merchandising is similar to getting a degree at a fashion focused school in Europe. Our university system is very different, so I can’t think of an exact comparison, but a combination of business/retail/fashion. As for if it is a one of those give-away degrees, I would say mostly not, but it is easier to maintain a good gpa than many science/math based degrees.
