Game played on 9/8/2018 at USF.
Well if you were looking for an excuse to drink last weekend GT's special teams definitely gave you enough reasons to. Here's this week's bullets:
- The offense looked pretty good. When GT puts up 38 points that should be more than enough to win.
- CPJ busting out the tight formation for about half the game.
- It warms my heart when CPJ runs the same play 6-7 times in a row out of different looks. I believe there were two such instances in this game
- When Marshall went down the offense didn't sputter with Oliver in.
- In the large sequence of "load option" when Oliver's in the game I couldn't tell if there was actually a read/option on the play or if he was going to keep it regardless. I tagged it as load option at first since the A back stayed in pitch relationship. After 4-5 times the A back stopped being an option and ran ahead of Oliver to block - so I just called that QB Keep.
- Backside OL looked shaky in a few spots (what else is new)
- Unforced TO's are killer - those need to be cleaned up
