German Helmet Restoration
In this video, I will show a restatement of the German Helmet M40 size 66 from the World War II. This helmet has been in the ground for 75 years. As a result of the restoration, the original paint and the color of the helmet were preserved.
No propaganda and extremism. Only history!
The demonstration of Nazi symbols in my videos is not propaganda of fascism, Nazism, etc. They are demonstrated exclusively for historical and scientific purposes.

Oh good Lord. I put mine in my sandblast cabinet on 25psi and was done with it it 15 min.

Love your work preserving some myself but I let them soak in white vinegar for a week does the same job. But it does take longer da just wondering what's in the the toilet cleaner bottle?

C2H2O4 "Oxalic acid". Two times for 12 hours

@@MK-ll1gt Oxalic acid is great stuff for removing rust, stains, and the black stains on old military stocks. Can be bought on Ebay in a powder form. Just remove with water and maybe some soap. Use it outside and wear rubber gloves just to be safe. Same stuff used in fence cleaner. Made from rubarb plants.

Try a toilet cleaner. Better to avoid yellowing. You kept the thing in oxalic acid for a long time

Why not? Restoration is the act of restoring someone or something to a satisfactory state. There are many types of restoration that are divided by different characteristics. In all types, the main goal of restoration is to restore the loss of the object (defects resulting from operation - chips, blows, faults and much more) and improve its appearance, as well as preserve the object.

Davide Tonello just buy a m40-m55 finish helmet it was made from German stamps and a lot was made during the continuation war and a lot just cost 60 dollars at Amazon
