War Thunder Headquarters, brainstorming: "How can we make the game more ALMOST FUN?" "Hmm, how about adding olive oil to slopes?" "Brilliant! More ideas!" "Rocks. Some you just ignore, but others you get horribly stuck, you cannot get out and your tank makes weird noises, that increases the anxiety of players" "Beautiful"
I had a cool idea to flank in an LVT, it was spoilt the same way. The vehicle couldn't get out of the water onto the bank, despite it being flat rock with a slight angle.
@@Neonblue84 PanzerabwehrKanone 36. Roughly armor defense cannon (aka antitank gun) 36. loved for its light weight, small silhouette, and high rate of fire. Hated for its poor performance against matildas, char Bs, KVs, and T-34s (earning the nickname army doorknocking device). Works great against BTs and cruisers XD
@@ronaldthompson4989 shure^^. Yeah i giggle about the "Heeresanklopfgerät". The english definition anti-tank and the german "PaK" ist nearly exact the same. It's the same think like "AA-gun" or "FlaK"
It's always interesting to see how different vehicles get used in War Thunder vs. how they were probably used in actual combat. This was probably a infantry close support vehicle used to take out fixed positions and strong points, but that role doesn't exist in War Thunder.
The PzGr40 (u call it APCR) was the best 3,7cm PzGr for the Canon 36. There was two types of PzGr40 out there. Version A and Version B. But there was only minimal changes in the cap for Money/Materialreasons. Both 3,7cm PzGr40-Bullets where able to penetrate 92mm (90° Angle and 200m Distance) and everything down a T34. Thanks to the "Wolframcarbidkern"! The successor was the 5,0cm pak Canon 38 and there bullets are able to penetrate 150mm (90° Angle and 200m Distance). Greetz from germany.
"Yeeaa boooooii!" seeing that shell fly to that tank made me laugh lol. So funny. Going to watch it a few more times. Edit: shell just out of no where, Phly can't even see him.
Easily the best first 2 minutes of a video that I have seen in the last couple weeks. Also the PhlyDailyJournal is a great idea and should make reappearances please
idk why but that first match triggered Nostalgia with these ammo types, the camo, the map just back then when you were going 1.0-2.3 in these maps where the armor pen wasnt glitched where driver hatches werent titanium. when russian gunners didnt go orange or red after pen where you could stand in mud without twitching
Yes Phly! At 16:30 odd mentions Gaijin need to add Flamethrowers! I've been asking this for a while now! Flame tanks are cool! Can you imagine flames licking the bottom of low flying aircraft and proceeding to burn up or setting open top vehicles ablaze! Shiiit would be gnarly! And they'd be effective against heavies setting engine decks alight and obscuring vision with smoking mm mmmm, need some more flamethower talk! Get Gaijin thinking that's what we want! Hehe
There are 75mm versions of the halftrack, Sd.Kfz. 251/9 (L/24 low velocity gun,) and the Sd.Kfz. 251/22 (PaK 40 anti-tank gun) There is also a 81mm mortar version, the Sd.Kfz. 251/2. Finally there is the Sd.Kfz. 251/1 II which was mounted with 6x 280 or 320mm rocket launchers, it was known as "Stuka zu Fuß" (Walking Stuka). You just know that is gonna happen sooner or later.
When you said add flamethrowers, my first thought is using it to melt the weldings so we can see hull breaks on tigers and panthers, or maybe those things running around with their faces fallen off, either way that'd be hilarious lol. Also, congrats on getting married! you and Lola are perfect together!
Man I had a real shitty night and I didn't even watch the intro to the end and I already feel better. Thx for your dedication to your viewers, you and Odd are the 2 best youtubers for me :D
Hans and gutner must of had the best time in their life on the potty bus Ww2 is now very different with potty busses And congratulations to everything phly hope you get to one mill by the end of the month
20:30 Actually, I'm not sure it would be able to do that in real life; I mean, maybe there's more power in the tracks, but the weird thing about that vehicle is that the front wheels aren't powered. There's no engine power running to them, they're just kinda...there, to help steer the thing a little, and also to get super stuck in mud.
I would hope that Gaijin gets smart, expands the BR range to 12.0, and fills out BR 1.0-5.0 with a lot more things like the SdKfz 251 halftracks and such. There is so much potential at the lower BRs that is not being realized thanks to the compression right now. We could move the Panzer II and Squeezy-Boi to 2.0, making room for Panzer I and the SdKfz-222 with the 20mm cannon could become new BR 1.0s. So many real and cool tanks from the late 1920s and early 1930s could work if we just gave them room to breathe!
I always come outof each video laughing, your editing and comedy is amazing. I suck at War Thunder but somehow every time I watch your low-BR videos I get more experienced. Thank you so much for your drive to create great videos everyday, you have succeeded. Again, thank you.
For whatever reason my comment disapears everytime. Attempt nr. 6: So did they decide to include the German halftracks ? The sdkfz 251 had 23 or 24 Main versions with 5 or 6 that could come into the game with there weapons. Also the Sd. Kfz 251/10 with the 37mm Pak 36 was more meant for supporting Panzergrenadiere when they attacked enemy Positions.( since the 37mm wasnt really effective anymore in 1940/1941)
