A new era of BABYMETAL has dawned.

Thanks for this reaction. Yes, Babymetal still have their pop roots as well, some people forget that at times. Including myself 🙂 The use of those moments of silence are used in other songs this album. This isn't the kind of surprise I want, but their are great surprised on this album.

We finally got the news many of us were waiting for in this recent live concert. Here some quick info: BABYMETAL BEGINS - The Other One / Black Night Location: PIA Arena Minato Mirai - Yokohama. Date: April 1st - Fox Day New third member officially announced: MomoMetal (Momoko Okazaki)🍑❤️ Kami Band: ? So far Anthony Barone from the West Kami Band is the only one with high chances of playing the drums was there, the rest is unclear. Setlist: 1) THE LEGEND 2) Megitsune 3) Gimme Chocolate!! 4) MAYA* 5) Mirror Mirror* 6) Time Wave* 7) KARATE+ 8) Believing* 9) METALIZM* 10) Distortion 11) PA PA YA!! 12) Road Of Resistance Encore 13) Babymetal DEATH - Shin Version 14) Ijime, Dame, Zettai * Live premiere + KARATE performed along with the new young BM unit. BMD - Shin Ver was performed with the three girls being crucified. At the end of the show they finally announced MomoMetal as "the new metal born" with a big picture of her. There's some more details related to the lore and narrated in certain sections such the beginning of the show, before performing Karate and the Encore section. Light And Darkness as well all the songs from the new album got already live version, we'll have to wait for the proshot of the rest, thou. Good reaction and happy Fox Day.🦊 This song is definitely a long way towards the pop end of the BABYMETAL sliding scale ... the live version is a bit different of course, but you will hear that for yourself in due course. Jake Muller has already told you all about what happened at the concert yesterday - and congratulations to Momometal.😊🦊 About the songs on this album that you have heard so far following a similar sort of style or feel ... don't worry, you have some great surprises to come (of the best possible kind) with the songs you haven't heard yet. 🤫🥷

Happy belated Fox Day! And nice reaction, thanks! "LAD" (the acronym is official, btw hehe...) is way outside my alley musically. So it took a few listens to grew on me but when it finally did, it hit me emotionally. And I have to say that not all the BABYMETAL songs have reached that point. Not to mention they premiered it live at Makuhari concerts on late January and the live version is already out there thanks to the wowow stream. And they killed it live, hands down! Although it's already said, I need to congratulate (again) Momoko Okazaki on her new position as a official member of BABYMETAL. Welcome, MOMOMETAL. 🤘🦊

👍 👍 Monochrome is my favorite off the album. All are great but Time Wave and The Legend are up there with Monochrome. As far as LIVE performances go I believe it is possible that some songs that are not necessarily favorites will move up after viewing the onstage performance. Concerning Monochrome I watched the LIVE Pro Shot video of it performed at their sold out back to back 2 night concerts last month in Tokyo. At a break in the song Suzuka asks the audience to “Take out your phone!” And “Turn on your light!” She then states “That’s amazing!” “Looks like stars!” Suzuka then begins to hum the lyrics while 20,000 lights are surrounding the stage. Mesmerizing. Until next time.
