Thank you for sharing your experience. There’s so little information available on this kind of torsion. My 2 yr old GS just passed from this as well. It’s devastating and I am so sorry for your loss as well.

My GS just died of this today:(. Emergency surgery lastnight and he passed at noon today. We couldnt resect the bowel bc it was the whole thing.. was purple but pinked back up with massaging. My dog was also thin and I wondered today about the EPI also. Never heard of that ... knew about bloat and stomach twisting so was very careful. He was 2.5 years old. Looked identical to your dog... longer hair and darker as his dad Coal was black. I miss him so much. Thanks for this video.
How exactly would you use the beef liver? And how much a day/ per meal? The medicine is super expensive i want to try that out if you had good results it aounds like... thank you so much, if you could break it down to me what to do i would definitely try it
Smaller meals more times a day is best. So instead of once a day I would feed 2-3. Use beef pancreas not liver. Cut the fat off and chop it up in a food processor. You don’t want to chop up more than a quart at a time because it will go bad before you use it all. So I’d say anywhere from 2-4 pancreas at once and freeze any extra you have. Keep the blended stuff in the fridge. And when you feed you just throw a few tablespoons on and mix the food up. Enough so that it’s touching all the food. Hope that helps.
