If that’s the chicken wire from breakout, that’s very much original German chicken wire Jeff brought back from Germany. You can tell by the double bail.
A good video and a good look, two small things. One the Brest eagle need to be sewn on slightly closer to the pocket and much more carefully. Two, bin the music.
@@schnelletruppenreenacting1959 well I wanted to ask because I am planning on getting an m41 wool tunic from military harbor and I want to know like how did they feel out in the field, are they good quality, does it feel nice to wear, and all that.
Waffen SS and the Algemine SS served very different roles, and their uniforms reflect that. Waffen SS uniforms were for combat, and Algemine uniforms were strictly political. So it's really like comparing apples and oranges.
I have a m43 tunic but it legit looks like yours. A m40 tunic. To be honest I’m not really bothered about it 😕 I think it came labelled m40 but it does the job and looks nice. I also have the same breast eagle but my Color tabs are a darker green like you mentioned you had before.
@@schnelletruppenreenacting1959 Yes but there are also photos from 1945 where people wear m36 uniforms but that is very rarely there are pictures of everything but that doesn't always have to mean something
@@louis_____8523 ok but m43 field caps worn by guys with m40 Tunics and jackboots wasn't rare, it was good mixture and was equally as common as other caps and uniforms. There are plenty of photos in normandy proving that.
