Hi Beautiful couple Firstly thank you for choosing to be informative for moving Indians. Me and my husband are moving to Germany and his date of joining is mentioned as 26th Aug and company has assigned an immigration service to help with the process. And they’re processing the national visa for both of us. Should we book the VFS appointment now itself or wait for the immigration service to confirm on the dates Also my husband visa is being processed from Singapore as he’s working there currently and I live in India and will be leaving job to accompany him. Wanted to understand will they visa arrive at once or he has to go first and I’ll be joining him later ?

Hello, I came to Germany in 2020 on a student visa. I have started my full time job just recently and also applied for a blue card a week ago. I want to apply for the spouse visa of my wife. Which category should I select for my spouse dependent visa or family reunion visa? Also, I haven't received my blue card yet. It is still in process. As far as I know the family reunion visa interview takes place in the consulate so you should choose Chennai consulate general of Germany

Hello sir, I have one question regarding visa fees payment -DD I have blue card work visa appointment scheduled at Mumbai centre.. What should be the name on DD , as per mentioned on vfs website is shows as : “Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mumbai” But the bank ppl say ,it’s not possible to put such a long name in DD as there is characters length restrictions .. What should I do in such case.. could you please help me with the name you mentioned on ur DD for visa fees . Thanks

You can ask them to remove the , (comma) in the name and then I guess it will work. But if it still didn’t work then ask them to write the remaining name with hand on DD and get it signed and stamped by the branch manager

Thanks for your query but actually the dates varies from person to person but still as per embassy it will take 90 days from appointment till approval. But if any documents is missing or required from you then this timeline may get increased.

Hello Nahi documents attested karne ki koi jarurat nahi hai, bas wo sare documents English me translated hone chahiye. Baki sare documents aap hamare video me check akr sakte ho. Hi. Thanks for your videos. I have one query related to Spouse and child Visa. I am applying visa for blue card category for employment in germany where my spouse and child will be going together. I am wondering which application form to follow for them? In checklist, i notice 2 categories- Checklist for dependents(accompanying spouse) Or Checklist for family reunion/spouse visa. I guess in that situation he need a letter from your husband stating that your friend is living at his place from past 1 year. And if he was working in Bangalore then the letter from his employer also works (in current WFH situation I’m not sure how does it works)

It actually depends On what type of visa your wife is in Germany. If it normal business visa for upto 90 days then you have to apply for Schengen visa and you can work for Indian company

Hello, Thanks for the detailed video. I have a question on FRV regarding apartment space. I currently stay alone in 22 mt. sq. apartment and I have the meldebescheinigung of the same apartment. By the time when I apply FRV, the meldebescheinigung will be older than 6 months. As per the apartment contract I will need be in the same apartment till june end. I am currently finding the apartment enough for 3 people stay(me, wife and child). Once I find it, I would like to start the process of FRV where I will just be having Apartment contract which will state that I have booked the apartment with the space details. My questions: 1) As per the documents check-list, it says you must have meldebescheinigung not older than 6 month, How is it possible to have meldebescheinigung not older than 6 months as I am staying in the current apartment since more than 8 months? 2) Do I need to first move to the new apartment having enough space for 3 people and then get the new meldebescheinigung and then apply for FRV? Please assist me with these queries.

Haan verification ke liye agar mail ata hai to fee DD se pay karna hai. Kabhi kabhi wo appointment ke time pe bhi bol dete hai fees pay krne ko so in that case you can pay with card/cash etc

You will get the appointment date soon. Currently very long time to get an appointment, you can watch out how to get appointments early video it will be little bit helpful to you. You will get your visa before Feb for sure as we have a long time to go

I am married recently and will be applying for spouse union visa. Wanted to know if after marriage the name in the passport has to be changed or we should change it later after going to Mumbai. ? You can keep the name on the passport as old one. Just make sure all the additional documents also have the same name. No worries with the old name everything will be all right.

I think as your marriage verification is already done you may get your visa early (But it depends if they want to do verifiation again they can do it) But in current situation I think you will need at least 3 to 4 months for complete process

No if you are getting an employment visa then you can bring your spouse. Depending on salary you can get a blue card work permit or normal work permit. In that case only some documentation may change but you can bring your spouse

Hello Unfortunately no one can help you to get an appointment. The appointments are offered by VFS only and if anyone is promising you to help you in getting appointments earlier then it’s a fake promise. Please be aware about it. In current situation it’s taking too long to get an appointments (around 3 to 6 months depending on your visa category)

It varies from situation to situation but usually you will get your visa in 3 to 4 months. For us it took 7 months from applying for an appointment till visa stamping on passport (but that was a very tough time due to Covid restrictions)

If you are holding a student resident permit then he can come to join you on family reunion visa. He can also carry out his job if his employer permits him
