Even tho this video is 2 years old, if anyone is watching it come visit us. I googled Lindau 1930 and somehow got to this video. I live here for 23 Years ( Since im born ) and its pretty here. Allthrough its sometimes boring for younger people but for holiday its very worth to come here. :)
Me too - I get so much stick when people ask where would you live - anywhere in the world. I say anywhere on Lake Konstanz will suit me fine. Swimming, Cycling, Hiking, Skiing
I have lived in the eastern, southern and western part of Germany in the past 5 years, i must say all these parts of the country have very different but beautiful cultures and people.. your video reminds me of my student life in Lindau when I used to take my books and laptop, dip my foot at Bodensee writing my Master Thesis watching Sunset and alps at the same time 😊.... Ahhh those peaceful days
hahaha, that music at the beginning. like a WW2 secret mission. my best berlin friend is from Konstanz, talks about it a lot and goes there every summer. i always feel like i should check it out. looks like you beat me to it. :-P
Love it! Thanks for making this video. I am in Munich now and have to be in Stuttgart tomorrow night. I was going to just visit Fussen on the way as I thought it would be too much to try to also visit Lindau on the same day. You convinced me otherwise. I will arrive late in Stuttgart thanks to your video - well worth it!
If you'd really showed Lindau's germs, you'd filmed the "Milchpilz", the rooftop gardens, Marionettentheater, the small boutiques or the smallest island 300m nearby called "Hoy", since it belongs to Reutin (part of City Lindau)
I've been there! Well not quite... I flew over Lindau on a Zeppelin. Then saw it from the harbour by ferry boat, on the way to Bregenz from Friedrichshafen. All in the same day.
@@RadicalLiving Mr Radical, your travel adventures remind me a lot of Richard Halliburton from the 1930s, think he was American, very famous at time, pretty forgotten now. His books were all very interesting, much like your videos.
Lindau je krásný město . Byl jsem tam jako dítě před 30 lety za strýcem který tam provozoval disco club Royal 😁 tento rok to tam určitě navštívím se svojí rodinou po možná 30 letech
Best advice is always have a rich friend, so you don't have to take care of the fucking boat. LOL! In all seriousness, my cousin lives over in Konstanz and she loves getting away to Lindau. I personally have never been. *tears
Is it still possible to get cheap rents and affordable apartments in Marzahn Hellersdorf area or in other areas in the east with Plattenbauen. Oh please do an episode with the plattenbauen housing. It's terribly ignored by most media that covers Berlin. Then again there are rumours that such areas have become hotbeds for a certain far right party. Love Plattenbauen, we don't have those in Kapstadt, Sued Afrika but still find them fascinating.
three years ago a fried was searching for free an cheap apartments in berlin. he found a lot them in hellersdorf, marzahn and lichtenberg. enjoy 100% commies architecture. now most of them were upgrated. he said it was a safe place. all over the country you have problems with people like gopniks and skins. but situation in offenbach, hanau and duisburg is worst.
Yes the Plattenbauten are probably the places with the cheapest rents. You are the first person i know to not hate them^^ But yeah, they did their job and provided affordable housing to the masses. Today they are a hotbed for the lower class.
Germany has such beautiful towns & villages ....i wonder why germans travel a lot ...... Why would anyone want to go to Spain or any other country .....
