the best places are not the cities, but the villages in Germany and France. I think.

@@afjo972 Well... I'm in an area, which is close to one of these cities, in a range of 20 miles. And our motto was always: "Close enough to it and far enough, from it..." Did you ever heard of "Speckgürtel"? That's the clever way...

You had a very quizzical look on your face when at the end of portraying Hamburg, he mentioned the Reeperbahn. That is the famous red light district of Hamburg…

I live in a major city. More specifically, in Hamburg. I prefer smaller major cities or mid-size towns over the metropolis. Well, I like them but the stereotypical German fairytale towns with half-timbered houses and traditional restaurants are not Hamburg, Köln and Frankfurt. Nope.

Äh, no... In Frankfurt, they still exist. There are some city districts, which are in fact small villages, put into the city limits, over the time...

I like all of these cities for some reasons. I think the city with coolest vibe is *Cologne. Hamburg* is maybe the most interesting city to visit and the most urban one. The city gives you some british vibes here and there. *Berlin* is very tourisity which has benefits on the one hand and sucks on the other. I don't like the vibes in Berlin's centre, but there are cool neighborhoods with better vibes and toursits might just don't mind them anyways. Berlin is huge, so you spend a lot time getting somewhere. *Munich* is very overrated, but still worth a visit. A lot of people in Munich are dandy ans snobby. The city got beautiful places though, like _Englischer Garten_ and _Olympiapark._ *Frankfurt* got good vibes too. People have seen it all, what ever you do or wear: you fit in. Frankfurt is a bit of a rough and superficial city, so people might not be as welcoming as in Cologne, but you do the _frist step_ and see, that people are nice too. Frankfurt is the most international city in germany: one third of Frankfurt's citizen is holding the passport from another country, coming from 177 (of the existing 195) different states. Around 48 % of the people living in Frankfurt have an migration background.

While i like those 2, they lack smt importent details to call out, like here the town *Hamburg* having the worlds largest harbour warehouse district. One of the most importenr points to call out but no, they miss it here (again). They also very often say not realy true things with lack of knowlege. Like the point of *Berliner* beeing "like" a donut. The *"Berliner" or "Krapfen"* is *older* as _"the donut"_ and was known before beeing mentioned in the 1st ever printed cookbook in the *14th century.* > The *"Loch-Krapfen"* is the orign of the *Donut.*

Berlin is fun. Every year me and some friends travel from Norway to different cities in Europe for å getaway from family life. Berlin is affordable and fun and one of the cities we have been to multiple times. Munich is much slower, but we went during the Octoberfest and that was fun, but all in all a more relaxing city.

to me, NYC is the most European city of all of America, most likely due to many people walking and taking public transportation, as well as many small stores all over the place… If you only go to NY and think you have been to America - think again…. Regular American cities have strictly delineated districts and are not make for walking at all…

The fact you’re from Germany is disappointing considering your mediocre researched facts - Hamburg has most millionaires

Not the top 5, only the biggest 5 towns. I love only 2 of them: Munich and Hamburg.. the others are crap (for my opinion). No one need ore want to be in Berlin ore Frankfurt. For me they are the ugliest and dirtiest towns in Germany.. And you can eat a better Döner ore Currywurst at the Ruhrgebiet 😂.

It's a matter of taste, I don't like Munich at all. It's very conservative and seems a bit stuffy. I like Berlin a thousand times more, there's much more energy and dynamism, but like I said, that's my opinion. I would be careful with these general assertions. As I said, to each his own opinion.
@mariokrings

@@norbertkuhn4072 the same counts for Frankfurt. It's a very green city with beautiful places at the riverbanks. There is lots of culture (techno as a genre was invented in Frankfurt) and plenty of museums (arts, communication, caricature, european central bank...), two zoos, huge parks, a botanical garden and so on. They never talked about the surroundings (like they did in munich). There is a low mountain range just 10 minuts from the city. Instead they talked about the airport and the skyline. Okay... But why wasn't there a proper photo of the skyline in the video then? Frankfurt is famous for it's sausage (isn't it?), Rippchen mit Kraut (smoked pork chop, with sauerkraut), Eier in Grüner Soße (Eggs in a herbal sauce) and the famous Applewine (dry cider). No word of it. I mean all cities do have beautiful places and less beautiful (or more dirty) ones. But to say Munich of Berlin or Frankfurt regarding it's cleaniness is is ridicolous. You arrive in Munich at the main station and it's just filthy and you feel like in the 70ies. It's not the main character of Munich of course, but it's part of the city. And thats the same in Frankfurt and Berlin.
