The rest of the world needs to understand that these armies are greatly reduced peacetime forces. Until the Ukraine war, both countries were of the opinion that an army had actually become unnecessary. Germany has reduced its military much more aggressively than France. For comparison: With the merger of West Germany and East Germany, the strength of the combined arms was briefly 700,000 soldiers and 8,000 battle tanks. Without enemies. Without threat. Easily financed in peacetime. Today it is just a shadow. The money is spent on environmental protection and migration.
@@darkkiller1919 that we don't have them is correct and therefore not a mistake. But 133 fighter a/c is wrong (they show the Tornado and connote them as our main fighter jets.....) And where are the self propelled howitzers? Reconnaissance vehicles? Supporting vehicles? Navy and Air Force personnell? Special Forces? IFVs? And regarding the ballistic missiles....be particular and add the Taurus and all the missiles the Navy use

With all the joint programs open border and really close relations between the two you might aswell count those 2 nubers to one combined force Also both countries have really potent artilleries and they weren't even noticed in the video

A little surprised Germany has that much of everything. They have relatively little territory to defend and very little coastline. Also surprised France only has one carrier.

Improved B61-12 with a GBU style guidance system is a bit better, but at very short range. Now this: French Navy operates 4 nuclear strategic submarines. Each sub can launch 16 M51 SLBMs. Length 12 metres, weight 54 tonnes, six to ten 110 kilotons independently targetable thermonuclear warheads, 10,000+ km range, reentry at Mach 25+, 150-200 metres accuracy. And French Rafale fighter jets can launch ASMP nuclear cruise missiles (300 kt, 500+ km range, pinpoint accuracy).
Alors ne crois pas si bien dire,bon en porte avion,les russes en ont 1 seule comme nous, de plus comme le montre la guerre en ukraine,le matériel russe est très mauvais enfin tu pourras jamais comparer un char russe et char français pour le reste c'est pareille
Toujours difficile de comparer sur le papier, car en cas de besoin il y a bien d'autres facteurs. Dans ton exemple et en considérant que le nombre les russes auraient fait tombé Kyiv en 3 jours (et ce n'était d'ailleurs pas très loin d'être le cas). Additionné je trouve que les deux forces sont plutôt complémentaires, et avec du matériels tout de même qualitatif et efficace. Là ou en Russie c'est tout de même plus douteux.
Et puis l'Allemagne et la France ne sont pas les seuls en Europe, je sais que l'Italie a une bête d'armée aussi (surtout navale) et que la Pologne ce renforce aussi de fou (surtout terrestre et man power) Je sais aussi que la Suède fait des bails dans son coin pour s'améliorer (leurs avions sont extraordinaires) Bref, tout ça pour dire qu'on est tous alliés et qu'on a des intérêts communs, et ensemble on est plus fort que la Russie
