He is the best player, former NBA player Yuki Togashi. You can say Rui is the best player just because of height. But if Yuki was the same 6'8 as Rui. Boy. The skill that Yuki has, you'd think he's Michael Jordan or something. He is also the most seasoned veteran amongst them, as team captain.

But I can't argue with Japan's head coach. Of course he's trying to matchup to the Europeans height right now that it's a scrimmage. Trial and error before the actual tournament begins. Since they will face off in the Olympics in the end

Japan's qualification to Olympics is just a fluke. Their bracket last World Cup is quite easy. The only team in their bracket that is difficult to beat is Germany and Australia.

俺もそう思った、小さいからなのか切り込みや裏をすごい簡単に取られて、相対的に小さいし手の長さも短めだからパスが通りやすいし、大きい１，２歩で裏取れるし、カットインを警戒するとシュート打たれるしで。今日は特にディフェンスの弱点が浮き彫りに見えた感じがする。

수비는 어쩔수 없음 작은것도 있지만 운동능력 차이와 실력도 있음 근데 공격에서 일본 특유의 3점이 안 터짐 토미나가 게이세이는 왜 똥폼만 잡고 못 넣는거야 호킨스도 아무것도 못 하고 하치무라만 집중견제 당했네 토미나가 와 호킨스는 아시아 레벨인듯 와타나베 유타가 빨리와야 됨

In Japan, players over 6’3 feet are considered valuable, so from an early age, they are coached to play as inside players. On the other hand, players under 6 feet are able to play as guards, but are too small to actually compete on the world stage.

Japan just cant defend. Too undersized and slow, which is a common problem in Asian teams. Im pretty sure Japan has a bunch of halfies from all over the world, they should start investing in these halfie kids instead.
