slikdarelic Mac is on my top 5 ever at Cuse. But Mac didn't have the speed or athleticism for the next level! And he was physically breaking down, anyway!

@@thescatman5029 - Oh c'mon... His shooting ability combined with his instinct to create open shots was unrivaled by ANYONE in that entire draft class.. I hate to bring race into this, but there's no doubt in my mind that if his skin was a few shades darker he would have been picked up within the first two rounds of the draft that year.. He's yet another victim of this "white men can't jump" mentality..

@@CaptnCrunch247 I am a Syracuse alum, who truly wishes McNamara had the skills to make the NBA. But in addition to what I said, McNamara was just too small. If you are gonna be 6-2 and under, you better have some blazing speed and/or athleticism to make it at the next level. He had none of that. And his body was completely shot! Good luck with a broken down body for 82 games every year!

And good luck trying to create open shots against bigger, faster, stronger and more athletic NBA defenses! All of us Syracuse alum saw the writing on the wall.....!
