THIS GOLF TIP Will Show You How to Have a PERFECT SWING. Are you searching for the Perfect Golf Swing? Golf's 80/20 Rule will have you thinking less and hitting all of the correct golf swing positions - without thinking about your swing! You will have a perfect golf swing if you allow golf's (unofficial) 80/20 Rule to work in your golf swing.
This simple golf swing rule will teach you that most of the golf swing is a REACTION to your ACTION -That the perfect golf swing can happen if you ALLOW IT TO HAPPEN. Most golfers try to CONTROL everything in their golf swing and this leads to an inefficient golf swing that causes extra effort, tension, frustration, and unnecessary golf swing flaws.
By learning the 80/20 Rule in the Golf Swing you will understand how to make the club react to the natural forces acting on your and your body so that you can create the PERFECT, REPEATABLE, GOLF SWING EVERY. SINGLE. TIME

I am Tom Saguto, PGA Member and founder of SagutoGolf. Thank you for visiting my instructional page where you can find how to get on the fast track to improving your golfing abilities. Whether you are a seasoned golfing veteran looking for a quick swing tune-up after an on-course emergency, or a beginner just looking to get the most out of your golfing experience, I am here to help you achieve your golfing goals.
My mission as your swing doctor is simple, to help you maximize your enjoyment in game of golf. Because, let’s face it, golf is a hard game.
My philosophy is wholly based on the student having a fun, meaningful experience in a frustrating and complicated game where potential lifelong golfers either quit because it is too difficult or that they experience some form of swing-related pain or discomfort. I mitigate these problems by focusing entirely on the student’s needs and goals while teaching a golf swing method that ultimately takes stress off of the common pain areas of the swing.

I have been a subscriber at Saguto Golf for the past month after a 15yr layoff from golf. I have rebuilt my swing using your swing techniques Tom, and I can not thank you enough for the invaluable tips and how simplified you have made learning and putting to practical use this method. In one month, I have gone from scoring over 120 for 18 holes to the low 90's consistently. No joke. I am currently working on viewing your chipping, pitching, and putting videos on your subscription site. I have no doubt Tom I will soon be scoring in the 80s very soon. My confidence in my swing is at a point where I am now eager to get to the tee box, and my accuracy hitting fairways is better than ever. I have cured my slice and usually hit a baby draw. You are an amazing instructor, Tom. I, for one, appreciate all the hard work you put into making these videos.

It's 100% exactly what I've been searching for, the correct pathway to a simple & consistent swing. Thank you Tom. I just joined and can't wait to see all the videos and get out on the range to put thoughts to practice. I start tomorrow morning.

Glad you enjoyed this lesson! Indeed, an effective, repeatable golf swing is built on a compilation of personal "feels" that are unique to each of us individually. Over time we ingrain these feels into a complete motion that we can execute without need for mechanical thoughts. We are then able to simply allow our ball striking and shot shape to be our guide, making only occasional minor setup tweaks when necessary. That is what it means to "take ownership of YOUR swing". I hope you were able to reverse things and get your game back! By the way, here's a link to my free mini-course “The Top 3 Things You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker” in case you’re interested in checking it out: go.saguto.golf/ Tom

Bump. Been with your program for about 6 months, was getting better then worse. Super frustrated!! Shot low 90s for a while and thought I was about to break thru, then went back into the 100s. I was so tense trying to crush the ball and thinking about weight on the lead side, shoulder down, hands back, hit from the bottom... started snap hooking like 80 percent of my shots. I was ready to publicly curse you Tom. But, I went back and watched this video and a light bulb went off. Went to the range and hit roughly 250 balls and wasn't fatigued at all and was in awe. It was so easy! I could actually feel the clubhead in the swing and the ball flight was manipulated by the swing path or stance (still got work to do there). My distance actually was much longer even though I'm literally swinging with maybe 10% of the effort. It's almost zero effort really. Just hoist the clubhead around behind you and let it fall back thru the ball like a pendulum. It's insane! I think this may truly be the secret to golf.

Whew....I'm sure glad we avoided that public flogging, William!!....😂 Yessir - it really can be - and is - that simple. We just have this human tendency of letting our brains get in the way!! This is my honest review of your lesson I am a relatively new golfer . Actually a 1-2- time a year golfer . Only when someone who played golf came to visit me here in Florida . I Just started really playing in March of this year I can work with my driving not too bad but could not hit a iron more than 25% of the time i was getting frustrated beyond belief . To the point of thinking I'm just not made for this sport I watched minimum 20 videos on how to swing an iron and tried them Time After Time nothing helped by going to the driving range or playing golf at least three times a week. I watched your video probably 10 times today and last night practicing in my living room I went to the driving range today to implement all of your tips I tried to remember everything you said and a quarter of the way through the bucket of balls I was still hitting 25% and missing the rest and slowly put every step of your instruction into my swing no exaggeration I was hitting 90% of the time beautiful Loft and probably 20% more distance than. The few times I . Connected with the ball I was going to go to a golf pro but now I don't think I'm going to because some of your tips are unconventional For the by-the-book golfer and I don't want him to poison your recipe of success and to say I'm ecstatic would be understatement. thank you Tom!!

This is the best golf lesson I ever had. I wish Ben Hogan book explained this.
@SagutoGolf
@SagutoGolf 3 года назад
I truly appreciate your kind words, Edwin, and I'm very glad to know that you benefited from this lesson video! Mr. Hogan is recognized by many as being the greatest ball striker of all time, and yes - he certainly did make great contributions to the world of golf instruction and remains popular in that realm today. Of particular noteworthiness in this regard is his book "Five Lessons - the Modern Fundamentals of Golf" that you referred to. There's a lot of great information in that book, but there have also been many misinterpretations that have led numerous golfers - and their ball flight - astray. I do my best to take what Mr. Hogan conveys in the book as his "feels", apply it to the reality of what he actually did in his swing, and translate it into something we all - including myself - can learn well from. If we get Hogan right there is tremendous and timeless instructional value to be garnered!! Thanks again! Tom

It’s been a couple weeks since I discovered Saguto golf. Your concept and instructions are amazing. Some days I have the swing and impact while other days I don’t. It’s expected as my swing is drastically different than before. I have to keep reminding myself that it will come and to trust the gradual process. Thanks Tom!

I went out today for my 3rd session hitting balls with the new swing. I hit 15% hooks and 10% fades but the rest are pretty straight and very-very long. My backswing is much shorter yet I hit some clubs as much as 30 yards further. I will play Aspen Lake GC next week in Sisters, OR which is fabulous and LONG. I can't wait!! Thanks, Tom!!

Spot on, KJ Kirky! Golf swing changes are clearly not immune from this world of instant gratification; many folks are truly expecting too much too soon! Patience and good humor are critical, and that includes laughing at the random sideways shots after striping three in a row! I noticed that your comment is from a few weeks ago. How have things progressed for you since then? I truly appreciate your kind words and support!! Tom PS: If you'd like to get on the fast track for learning what I teach please consider the SagutoGolf membership plan. For just $10 US/month or $99 US/year you'll have unlimited access to a comprehensive members-only instruction system. This will really simplify the process for you. You took my swing to this next level. I've been practicing using this method for four days (I have a lot going on that is keeping me from playing 9 or 18 holes). My hits are consistent, straight, and powerful! I've got to relearn how far each of my clubs go now. I'm practicing with rubber balls and now my sandwedge is going farther than my 9 iron was. Thank you for sharing how to start my down swing (with my lower body toward the target) and loose the tension. It's a whole new game!

I'll be glad to have a conversation with TGC if you can arrange for the meeting, Matt!! Went back to my old pendulum swing today. Looks like an old lady swing but it doesn’t slice or hook and goes 250+. Same swing for chips to driver. Just keep them arms straight and the ball goes straight, simple. Golf is a goofy game not a sport. Quit trying to swing the club. Just rotate with your arms straight and hit it down the middle. Your scores will be lower.

Hey Tom, I been focusing on keep a good turn, thinking about my head on a wall, and just swing. Wow just wow, never had such clean crisp irons. I've been struggling for over 5 years now. My pros kept on telling me what not to do, what not to do, so I tried to keep everything aligned. Played like shit. Your vids set me free. Was I allowed to turn my chest? I started doing it, keeping the club inside. Had more speed and played +2 on a 9 hole. 7 pars and 2 bogeys. For the first time on a golf course I started to feel confident. So, thank you. You're the best. A great instructor and really fun to watch.

Great lesson. I think where it goes wrong for most is doing this with a weak grip, i.e. open not soft grip, then start to control the swing to close the face instead of fixing the grip. That's what I've done all my life...

I needed to hear this. Every time I go to the range I sit there and over think my swing to the point that I'm super tense. After $5 of balls my lower back starts getting tight and my hands get so sore. Excited to try this and see how different my body feels after a session at the range.

I'm very glad to know that this lesson resonated well with you! This is a very body-friendly motion as supported by the fact that a significant percentage of my online school members are in their 60's, 70's, and 80's - i.e.: a smorgasbord of chronic ailments, physical limitations, back/shoulder/knee/hip pain, arthritis, and joint replacements - and they are overwhelmingly elated to experience the dramatic pain-free game improvement, seemingly effortless power, and resulting enjoyment that this swing affords them. It all begins with a proper setup which provides for a free-flowing motion. Upon that good foundation a repeatable swing which produces consistently crispy impact can be built. Have you looked into the comprehensive, structured, sequential learning platform of the online school yet? That's where - among many other courses and lessons covering various aspects of the game - you will find very detailed instruction and drills that take you through the entire swing step-by-step from setup to finish. Thousands of folks across the globe and spanning all age ranges and talent levels are now enjoying the best golf of their lives as a result, and I'm happy to let their unsolicited testimonials tell the story: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews. And here's a link to my free mini-course “The Top 3 Things You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker” if you’re interested in checking it out: go.saguto.golf/ You don't need the flexibility of a Romanian gymnast - or even of this far less pliable golf instructor - to execute this swing, experience great ball striking, and reclaim - or even exceed - yardages from years past. I hope you'll give the school some thought. Embrace the challenge of this greatest of games and have fun out there!! Tom
