Do you need to point your toes and does it work out your glutes as well?

Hi, no it isn’t necessary to point your toes. It is the weight of the keg that activates your abs when lying in your back, more specifically your obliques. The exercise lifting your leg to the back, again it is not necessary to point your toes. This exercise does also work your glutes.

That's the issue with me, I have such a curve at the level of the lower back that I never feel safe doing these exercises, how do I correct first this curve? I think my pelvis is not in the proper position. If I wear a skirt it will look longer at the front than at the back.
