So I found out the hard way that it just relaxes the person looking into your eyes. I thought I could hypnotize and went up to my crush and said 'Now, with the snap of my fingers you will love me.' looked in his eyes as he looked in mine, and snapped my fingers. He asked if I was on drugs. :D

If you stare at the spiral you start to hallucinate and see a spiral movement infront of you till the hallucination stops it has technically the same effect as if you'd stare at a lamp and then when you look at something else you have a bright ball in your vision of sight.

+A Bird On The Porch That depends mostly on yourself. When you can't relax (whyever) than you can't achive a deep trance. Except if you're an extremely suggestible person. So it depends on your character and your current state of mind how deep the trance will be.

I had has hypnotized an full aquarium of fishes with my eyes subconsciously and i watched right into it and just have seen how they watched me and had big black eyes omg what an experience. I didn’t know that it works and i didn’t knew that they was hypnotized 2 people was with me and was a little bit shocked what is happening right now with the fishes it wasn’t my aquarium I was by a friends house. It’s so cool that I want to try it again but I’m doing different stuff so idk if it’s okay to have it or not or people can see them or not if I walk in the city.

+Nomaru Uzaki Hoddock There could be any number of reasons for that. Maybe you're just not suggestible, or you're too skeptical or you're not trained well enough (yes hypnosis is trainable) or whatever. You should contact a professional hypnotist to examine that - direct contact is also wayyy more powerful than a simple youtube video.

you can at the beginning but you don't have to. you close your eyes before or when he tells you to. I usually just close my eyes the whole video and I've never had a problem. it really just depends on what you prefer.
