This tray fill system combines several FANUC robots with a variety of intelligent components to palletize and depalletize different sized bags of liquid solution.
First, bags from multiple lines are transferred to a common loop where two FANUC SR-12iA SCARA robots equipped with iRVision® and line tracking accurately pick bags from a conveyor and place them onto a moving tray.
Next, a four-axis FANUC M-410iC/185 palletizing robot is responsible for picking and placing empty trays into the loading area and palletizing full trays of product.
Finally, a FANUC R-2000iC/210F material handling robot depalletizes aged product by tipping them into a gaylord, and palletizes the empty trays that are then circulated back to the loading area.
Custom tooling combined with robotic vision and sensors allow for the precise handling of this delicate product.
