That’s not their prime reason for being there.Horse Guards is a military establishment.Such places have been targets for terrorism in the past.

@@user-gw7wy1nk9q I think it's a stress on the guards, horses, police and troopers when tourists come in groups of 25 and 30 kids. Especially when it's mostly males. They have 1 chaperone for all those kids. They shouldn't be allowed to settle at the arches, they should take their pictures then leave. The police are standing right there watching the group torment the guard. This should not happen.

That's our girl! She is absolutely wonderful as indeed are all the M.O.D. police officers. But , yes agree. This selfish, arrogant behaviour, I find frustrating and it is sad.

I appreciate you for enduring all the noise and crowding in order to bring us the sights of Horse Guards. Gorgeous horses and guards today. I found myself thinking I don't see how you can stand it for so long. People are so unnecessarily loud and intrusive into others' space. The kids that decided to spread out and take over the arches, even in front of the guard (before the changeover), instead of moving aside so others could get a photo is an example.

I'm 84 now, grew up in London, went to many places as a kid, my father always looking for somewhere to keep us interested, yet I have never been to this Horse Guards place in my life. Too late now, I've been in the US for more than 30 years & not flying any more now, too old ! Thanks for your video, it's nice to be able to finally visit here via RU-vid!!!

Seems manners and respect are not a part of their education in whatever country they're from. Their teacher is not much use either too many kids fir her.

That education should begin at home with the parents. All families can teachable moments to teach basic manners including respect. If there are not 5 minutes in every day to teach a child something without necessarily making it look like a lesson then the child is involved in too many activities. In a situation like this, the care giver or teacher can begin with thanking the guard and then thanking the horse. He/she then could say who’s next to bring a smile to the guard and others. At home or day care, the care giver could say something like I’ve missed you and am so glad to see you now, smile as you say it. Not all lessons need to be disguised, maybe around the dinner table at supper time someone else can say I want to thank Mummy or whoever for making this delicious meal. Going around the table, ask the youngster after you thank mummy, is there anyone else you would like to thank. Go ahead, go around the table and ask everyone else. You could leave it as is, just the 2 with the first being mummy or whoever made the meal. The other thing you could do if the children are older is have them add all the previous answers (only saying mummy once, or it might get too long). Then add the please and you’re welcome. These are just examples.

This little kid is so cute, but mom pushes him everywhere. I have seen them in different videos. She is either pushing him in front of the guards or making him salute the guards. What a stafe mon. Poor. Child!
