@@Trinsicc I have rune trophies from the first 3 leagues, and a dragon trophy from the fourth. I spent an average time of 5 hours or more on each league every day. You do not understand

Unsure how I feel about permanent area lock, but it is interesting. Maybe play that one by ear, because some people might get REALLY bored of it. The rest, however, is completely brilliant, and reminds me of how Path of Exile takes previous league mechanics and puts some of them back in. It's one of my favourite parts of the game, so this looks great.

League unique bosses is so cool. I was so sad in Shattered Relics league when I realized the "Sage" wasn't a boss we got to eventually fight to "restore" the relics as part of the Leagues lore.

The biggest thing I wish is that you could *do* raids or group content from any region. Every trailblazer league, I love that me and my friends take different areas, but only being able to do group content in areas we both have always feels bad.

I agree. If people wanted to limit themselves, they could do that anyway without it being forced. I unlock all my areas and relics, and then I feel like I'm done because I have as much content that I'll ever have to do. But maybe the changes will spice it up.

I also really liked shattered relics, but region locked is simply the more popular mode for the avarage player. Most people don't have time to do tasks for all available content

Region locking just offers so many different decisions and it's always fun to see how it will work out. I imagine Valramore is gonna be separate from Kourend, might be interesting. I do hope they change the area locking in a few ways though, having the same borders constantly might develop metas ahead of time.

I am deeply saddened by area locking coming back. It makes Leagues really unfun after a little while. Shattered relic was my favorite League due to the interchangeable relic system and the ability to do a little of everything. Don't mind them doing are locked, but definitely hate it being a permanent part of Leagues

Would love to have a permanent leagues server similar to the DMM servers. IRL commitments don’t allow me to commit to grinds anymore but it would still be fun to advance quickly the 2-5hrs a week I’d have to play. Otherwise playing osrs isn’t worth it anymore. No hate against the people who wanna grind 300hrs for an item or raids. I just personally can’t do it anymore and I’m sure others with IRL responsibilities feel similar.

I really wish you could have multiple characters under 1 membership. Leagues make it so you want to make others characters with different unlocks. Tried making a second character last league and it just doesnt seem worth it.

I dunno if Jagex reads these, and I know it's likely too late to change anything with this new league, but for the next league can we not do Trailblazer V4? I wasn't a fan of doing trailblazer again the second time with how restrictive it was, and we're doing it AGAIN? If you want to do a restrictive league, fine, do a single region again like Twisted. Hell, could do Kourend + Varlamore.

So you guys banned my account that I literally only play on mobile and never talk to anyone on so it is quite literally impossible that I broke any rules. It's also impossible to get a hold of ANYONE to help me figure out why this has happened as I can't even log into the osrs website now?? And thats the part I hate about it. I just want to use the content everywhere. The whole reason it worked in 2 and 4 is that was the literal POINT of the league. If you make it every league, then trailblazer and reloaded were just leagues 2 and 4 with no title, since nothing was special about it

I've always struggled to get far enough into a league to do more bossing than just something like Jad or a particularly tough quest, but with some additional mid level bosses released since last league that may change! The question being whether to pick an "efficient" area setup or go the same route I did last league of just picking regions I hadn't done before and seeing what comes of it. (Kourend, Wilderness, Relleka?? Sure man if that's what you want to do. They thought I was crazy, and I probably was! Wound up with infinite gold for construction training on gold sinks, but also no good combat spells for my mage character!)

It's highly unlikely as it doesn't do anything for their business in the long term. With Leagues, there's a huge influx of players coming back, as was evident last year with Trailblazer 2. With that influx comes membership and bond purchases. With a permanent Leagues world, the nostalgia and fun would wear off extremely fast, and you'd end up with a similar situation to the dedicated DMM world - barely anybody on it. It could also potentially harm the core game itself.

Just to add, because I felt I was too blunt with your good self. I'd personally love a permanent Leagues world, but it's that initial log-in on the first few days that holds the dopamine and nostalgia. It's their lightning in a bottle moment and to sacrifice that and not make money in the long term is bad business.

Zero, because part of the point of a league is it's time limit to generate player interaction, and because it would make reintroducing mechanics from a now-ended league into the permanent league a lot of work, I suspect. The only reason I say zero is because of Path of Exile - Their "standard" league has ALL unremoved mechanics, which is what your permanent league would look like. Eventually, it becomes too bloated with content to actually support a player driven economy. It would be really, really cool, I just think it would be too technically difficult.

@@martinirving2839 I only disagree because I have quit playing therefore, quit paying Jagex money because I don’t have the time to play anymore. Having a faster paced server would actually get me back into the game because it wouldn’t take me over a year to get a 99 at the rate I’m able to play. Obviously I’m sure I’m a minority of people who actively play but I can’t imagine them having a server similar to DMM would be a money waster.

I guess I'm the only one not a fan of region locks. I just want to use the content everywhere. Leagues 3 was great and you could do that, and I feel like it worked in leagues 2 and 4 mainly because thats what the league was based off of. If every league has region lock, then leagues 2 and 4 where just normal leagues with no title lol

No... Regionlocking was the worst part of leagues and i loved the 3rd league for lacking it. At least make it so you can unlock more then just 3 regions with a higher threshold...
