i dont use reddit or other social medias but can we get this to go more viral please...this dude deserves it ....i mean he only has like 11k subs...and putting in this much effort for a video with this much detail you can tell runescape was apart of his childhood .....nostalgia will do that to you lmfao i just wish he hired a voice actor to narrate the story from fiver....he has the perfect voice for like a child like fairy tale book but this quest requires a deep gravely voice.....i dont voice act but i can probably pull it off xD (i dont have recording equipment dont ask me LMFAO but i get told i sound like morgan freeman and mostly vin diesel all the time when i game)
@@jayz4385 I know, you're a Runescape player, using your brain for once isn't an easy task for you thus hear me out; you can't get popular on games that nobody really cares about.
No thanks. Gagex introduced pronouns today. Not interested in finding out romeo is secretely a twink and the cousins a man in a dress and all that stuff that will happen
For the love of whatever RuneScape god suits you, please, continue this. I would pay an indeterminate amount of money to watch this series continue. This was so good! Seeing RuneScape animated like this was something I have wanted since I was a wee scaper 20 + years ago. You make a young me so excited to see this, and a current me even more excited to see more
man runescape questing is actually really well written, everything here was taken from ingame dialogue more or less. I feel bad holding down space for 99% of the quests. But I'm glad that content like this exists to show off the game, and your individual skill to animate it
A 44 year old mom guided me all the way from the start until I finished the quest back when I was 16! I'm 32 now and holy sh*t! This video brings so many memories.
I LOVE this. We need more creative OSRS content like this. Not everything needs to be PK or challenge videos. I love the cinematic quality to this. Would love to see you do more. Especially the old and most iconic quests. Demon Slayer, Desert Treasure 1, Monkey Madness 1, etc.
This video is 17 minutes long, but it too you less than three to become my favorite RuneScape content creator. This is quite simply one of the best pieces of RuneScape content ever.
This video makes me want a saturday morning cartoon style runescape tv show, where each questline was a different saga, and all the pre requesite quests and in between ones are side quests/filler episodes.
A runescape netflix series would be pretty cool. Something like a 24 episode single season telling a bunch of different quest stories. You'd need to find an animation studio willing to take the project, though.
This is so so good. Dragon slayer is one of my all time favourite quests and you brought it to life incredibly well. Seriously man, thank you for blessing us with this.
Bro wtf??? This is actually incredible. Hats off to you my friend this is a masterpiece. I had chills during the intro not knowing what to expect and you delivered.
You can tell a long time was spent story boarding this. So many miniscule details were thoroughly thought through. You can see the passion for the game. So many people have spent so many hours/days/weeks/years/decades playing this game and to see you take the time to show love like this deserves even more love back.
i beat this quest when i was 9 back in 2008. thalzars words really struck me and to this day its one of the best snippets of dialogue from any game ive ever played. "if you can beat the dragon of crandor, you are a greater hero than my land ever produced. there is no shame in backing out now." still sends chills down my spine. imagine youre getting ready for the final fight in skyrim and an npc hits you with some shit like that. golden writing right there.
I've done this quest twice, once back in the day and once recently. This video recaptured how it felt back in the day, an epic struggle fighting through the maze and solving the puzzle before finally coming up against what I thought was the hardest monster in all of Runescape at the time.
This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I've been playing this game for over 20 years, and holy did you nail it! Instant sub for me. Well done!
That library is probably the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in an osrs video. Fantastic storytelling, visuals, and music choice. Instant sub, can’t wait to see more from you. :) Cheers
This was genuinely so good that it really makes me want to do my own take on the concept. Seriously, very well done. It unlocked a core memory from when I was little, I wanted to make animations like this, but for PvP. I always had this idea of 2 maxed out players in the wilderness, one in full Saradomin Trimmed Rune Armor and the Saradomin Godsword, the other with the same but with Zamorak gear. But anyway, once again, well done!
This was INCREDIBLE! Your story telling skills and animation are unmatched, please make more!! RuneScape has so many iconic quests, I’d happily binge watch an entire series of this style of videos
I’ve definitely never subscribed to someone 1 minute into the first video I'd ever seen of theirs but here I am. Top tier content this guy deserves some recognition! Holy crap.
So freakin' well done at conveying the elaborate world, excitement and other feelings that quest gave us back in our youth. Just wait until the algo throws this into the right person's feed and it blows up. Golden Gnome inbound!
I almost didn't watch this because I thought it was a different quest. If you'd called it Dragon Slayer 1 I'd have watched right away. Great video! Edit: Thank you for changing it!
Ok I've finished the video now, and subscribed, I even turned notifications to 'All', which I almost never do! RuneScape Chronicles brought me here and I'm so glad it did, can't wait for part 2 😊
Been saying for years the Runescapes quests (especally after 2011) would make amazing movies. Imagine RS3's versions of the Vampire questline, God Wars 2&3, the multiple Desert questlines as a miniseries leading to a finale movie vs Amascut! This is hopefully the first step towards a very bright future for telling the story of our favorite game series
People we need to get this video to Sparcmac, Torvesta, Framed, Theoatrix, Etc. Attention!!! This masterpiece needs to be seen by all of us who love this games
I love creativity about RuneScape, haven’t played in years after losing all my gear. From back in the day RSMV’s, to RuneScape private servers, and now we get things like gielenor games and an animated quest?! Absolutely insane. My only request is, do it again for cook’s assistant but overedit it and make it look just as epic as this quest 🤣
Bravo. Loved it all through and through, this is insanely well produced. Jagex should have you on payroll, dude. The voice work, the writing, the animations - SO GOOD. I can't wait to see what you do next.
I just realized, Oziach is among the worst salesman in the history of Gielinor. What's that? My fancy armour? Yes yes, I will sell it to only the greatest hero on the planet. No wonder he started a side hussle of repairing extremely rare shields. Btw, this video is amazing!
This is so well made and creates such a fun experience for the watcher. The music is so fitting and the attention to detail is insane. Can’t wait for part two.
this 17 minute, 40 second video was the best 17 minutes 40 seconds of my life that i can say, was not a waste of time! can´t wait to see more of this legendary art! you got some big talent here mate! keep up this awesome work!
You know what's funny, the very first time I was fighting Elvarg, this video is exactly how it felt. You just triggered an amazing wave of nostalgia, thank you!
Holy cow. Just finished it and dude, this was special. I've been playing this game for 20 years and am so excited to see it displayed in this manner. Thank you!
This is actually a sick idea! As someone who plays runescapes but doesn't really like the questing part, I tend to just mindlessly do them without knowing what's happening by following Quest Helper. I hope this series continues! Also just got a tormented synapse drop while watching lool!!!
Dude you are onto something here, please keep doing these it is like watching how i imagine these moments in my head. Would love to see this for more iconic quests!
I haven't done this quest in almost 15 years, perhaps longer, and this brought back so many flashbacks to the original Runescape. Thanks a ton for doing this.
This is golden gnome behavior. And a new way of content surrounding game. Very innovative. Perfect it even more and potential to be door opener to other employment/cash opportunities in life.. fr. Your brain is out the box. Genius.💯🛸
Omg mate... no words. This is what i was imagine when i was 11/12 years old back in 2005/06. There was only internet for helping you with quests. Really well done mate with this masterpiece of Runescape history! 🤘🏻🖤
that was absolutely amazing. i came into with low expectations because no one can encapsulate my memories as a child accomplishing dragon slayer quest. but WOAH this did true justice! the fact you had animated the dead body in the dragons lair, the AMAZING music, the awesome animation! truly amazing! =]
Contrary to popular belief, the sequel isn't Dragon Slayer II, but a 30s short of some guy with precognition having all the required items and flinching Elvarg with Fire Strike.
