Thanks Chantelle! I didn't know about organising friends. That is a great option. I don"t use my ravelry account to its full potential so these videos will be a wonderful help and you explain things so visually and well. (Lesley)

I really hadn't given much thought to the friends' organisation. Up until now I've only tagged for people I've actually met, or people that have attended one of the Fiberific Retreats. I think I'll add some more. That way I can review who's done what before I head off to Caffeinated Crafters or one of my other groups.

WOOHOO, I am so excited to see these Ravelry video series!!! 🥳 Plus, I really appreciate how you have incorporated internet safety just as standard! I was following along and thought I would do a Ravelry content check, then you blew my mind 🤯with organising my friends. I have a number of youtubers / aussie indie dyers that I have friends in Rav as well as a bunch of people I know in real life, its great that I can separate them to make viewing easier. Thank you 💙

It would be great to show people how to use Ravelry to 'stash-bust'. How to search for patterns based on certain criteria such as yarn weight and composition and item category (like, sweater etc). Or even more specifically what gauge and/or the exact yarn.

Can i ask you why Ravelry, not etsy? İ’am a knitter and i have many design but i don’t if i must create an account for etsy or ravelry or both?

Great question, I would say do both. It's a bit of work setting them up, but then it's just adding your new designs. I will say they both have their advantages. Ravelry is focussed on yarn crafters. So everyone there is already living yarn. Etsy is a bit more hit and miss. And you NEED to specify very clearly this is for the PDF pattern only not the completed item. People really do think they can get a blanket for $10.
