Get The MOST Out Of EVERY Update! | Disney Dreamlight Valley | How To Prepare For EVERY Update! 

Yeah... not going to lie I was extremely saddened and disappointed in the dev's decisions to limit who can provide the Twitch drops. There are tons of small creators like me who put our heart and soul into this game. Many of the chosen creators play a wide variety of games... Meanwhile 99% of what I do on RU-vid and Twitch is Dreamlight Valley. All that said, it's okay! At the end of the day, I'm happy they are doing Twitch drops. This will help build more interest in the game and hopefully bring in new players! Many of the streamers chosen by Gameloft won't be playing DDLV as much as me or others so some of those "new" viewers will likely migrate to our streams eventually if they're seeking more DDLV content! I just sincerely hope that Gameloft publicizes an entry process next time. Otherwise, creators like me who have a lot of love for the game feel a bit unseen or even unimportant despite the fact we're promoting this game every single day. If any Dev's read this, I LOVE what you're doing with the game but when it comes to Drops please consider creators who primarily specialize in your amazing game. Thanks.

I do know earlier on another streamer mentioning there actually somewhere she went because they were asking who would be interested and she put her name there. Plus all their social media she posted pictures and posts and was very much acted. She said she was a smaller streamer but the drops helped immensely.

@@Sunny_Star26 Gameloft invited people from their discord only from what I heard. Sadly, I'm too busy with RU-vid, TWITCH, FB, and my own Discord Server. I do check DDLV's Twitter daily. They did not share the information on their socials last time around. That said, they did mention on Twitter that they WOULD be inviting creators through their socials next time. Hope that clears things up. Cheers.

Hey BobbyGirl! Thanks for the comment! I know a lot of people who do the star path first! I also know a lot of people who love to do the character quest first so they can take them out mining and gardening at level 10! A lot of people love hanging out with the new characters and that's why so many people find value in this video! Also, if you have time to utilize the tips in this video you'll have plenty of resources on hand for both the star path AND the quests! It doesn't take too many resources to do both! You don't have to choose one or the other! Enjoy the update! Cheers!

That shows that everyone can play this game differently. Althought I do decor a little, pay stuff in Scrooge's store and participate in star path, I actually want to wait until the game is fully finish before crafting new things. I don't want to craft something new only to find out later that it won't be on the final product😅

I finished Nala and Simba's new quests oretty quick because there were some AMAZING rewards! (Don't want to spoil it for you so I won't mention what they are just incase you're still working on them but they're great!) Simba's questline bring about a pretty magical change to the valley! So many (not you) YT’ers stockpiled, blew through the update and then complained because there was nothing left to do. What did they expect??

The last star path also required you to build the red, black and yellow balloon arc. This was my last task in the star path and took me at least one week because I did not have the black passionlillies (you needed 20) and there are only two that grow per day I think 🤔

Alexandrite isn't a stone you can have in the game yet. Howerver, it's been comfirm we'll get new biomes so it must come from it.

The blue gems in the Sunlit mines are called Sapphire! The sunlit mines also drop an mineral called the "vitalys crystal" Sadly, alexandrite isn't in the game yet but we know it's coming! Maybe a new biome material...?

@@Probably_Senpai that’s what I’m saying- it’s not letting me mine in the sunlit plateau and every mining rock has blue gems that don’t look like sapphires. Could it be alexandrite that isn’t available til tomorrow perhaps?!

Oh nooo! I'm so sorry to hear you're still dealing with a bug! I went over the patch notes yesterday and I know the devs fixed a ton of quest bugs! Have you visited the official DDLV discord to report your issue? They're REALLY good about listening to player's bugs! Also, my Plateau was empty a week ago! As soon as the announced the update release date I got BUSY! 😂😂

@@Probably_Senpai I’ve been putting it off reaching out to them. Lol just the time consuming portion of it 😅 I have heard they have been great with fixing the bugs and helping with fixing glitches etc. I’m going to reach out today. lol I can’t take it anymore.
