Soror, Your "Get to know me" video really encouraged me to be patient! After breast cancer and 16 rounds of chemo my hair grew back soooo coily, it took 6 months to figure out what to do with it! Seeing your video makes me so excited to see how long my hair grows! #hairGOALS #SUBSCRIBED

I love black clothes also! I would have no problem wearing black everyday and colorful, bold lipstick! I was recently slightly embarrassed to see that I had 3 very similar black butterfly sleeve dresses and was about to buy a 4th. 😶

Great video! I love how you personalize them. I just started watching (hoping I can get this natural hair thing down eventually) but so many videos the people dehumanize themselves like they are robots doing perfect styles. It's great to hear from someone who struggled with it but was able to eventually overcome. Side note: your genuineness comes across in your videos.

Some people think that if you're pretty with long hair you have to be mixed. They think that if you're "fully" black you can't grow hair or be beautiful. Smh I think that if black women would try to truly get to know themselves as far as how their own hair grows, or how to take care of their skin you wouldn't get the "Are you mixed?" Question so much. Just my opinion.
That's just facts,lots of black women would rather relax, straightened and get damaged,broken,spilt end hair then deal with their own hair and they say there natural hair is to hard to manage
I greatly respect your response to what would you like to know as a kid, because I'm starting my senior year in highschool and I'm really excited to go to college and be on my merry way to my career, but it's always nice to be aware of the obstacles that the real world has for you. So thank you. 💙

OMG!!! We have a lot in common starting from being a Virgo always wearing black same height favorite football team playing basketball etc... I think always being RIGHT is a Virgo thing lol. In you hair journey video you said your last relaxer was in 2005, then you got your hair pressed regularly until 2013 at which time you decided to embrace your curly hair. Did you big chop when you stopped straightening your hair, or have you been growing non-relaxed hair since 2005?
I feel you 100% VIRGO...My daughter is August 28th she does the same thing with her friends. stop taking on other folks problems especially if they don't want to change. I'm August 30th and I'm always right as well... I have to get the mini paydays cause I hate sticking my hand in my purse because I stuck a half eaten payday in it , can't eat it if pennies are stuck to it and it smells like sanitizer. I have been relaxer free since May 15 and is considering flat ironing my hair for the first time in maybe 3 years for my upcoming birthday. Your personality is the bomb...Oh and son's birthday is the 27th...Your hair is lovely and so are you and I plan on getting super lovely myself with staying tune to RU-vidrs like yourself ...so I'll be watching for my tips and advice. I have been binge watching your videos. I had to lol when you said you always have to be right. That is literally a Virgo trait and someone who is analytical. Hence, that's why you are in accounting.
