@@SwitchBotOfficialI mean if it works through wifi should have no impact on that decision.. you can easily use a key mechanism to authenticate HA access to the bot on the local network
shame you never answer your support phone line and don't support broken products.... thank goodness Amazon took my brand new unuseable vaccum back.....
1. Although S10 itself is connected to Wi-Fi... the camera is not. So remote login is not possible. 2. The camera only temporarily stores 1 second of image information when the robot is moving, for real-time obstacle avoidance use. 3. When S10 is not moving or the AI Obstacle camera function is not turned on there is no information collected by the camera in its device memory, and it is any data is cleared when S10 is not moving. Hope this helps! :D
is there a pump to evacuate the dirty water? or is it done via the system (house) water pressure? concern is how will partiicles in the water not clog the robot/drain line?
It will always automatically refill and drain regardless, so you'd just need to leave S10 to its own accord and it'll be fine (if just using the Water Station).
It doesn't mop near sides. Got mine 2 days ago. And on very low profile carpets it won't stop mopping. Or if it dose stop mopping it dose a poorly job at raising the mop and my carpet feels damp.
@@lauretiu I have the Roborock S8 Ultra but also a huge user of Switchbot tech. How would you compare the S10 with top tier robovacs like Roborock and Dreame? I overall love love love the concept of the dual stations because the one huge issue of the top tier robovacs is the docks are massive and now need to be incorporated like furniture which sucks because they don't esthetically blend in
@ScottRobertson4523 ignoring the fact that I will not be able to mop next to walls(it will sweep/vaccum corners and and close to walls but not mop because there'sa roller mop instead of the spreading pads(🤣 thats what i call the joke we get with other mops that literaly spread everything around since they don'thave a scraper and a vostantly self cleaning roller mop) and the fact that the ai needs a few updates, I would never go back to a roborock or anything else. The ease of never having to deal with stinky water or having to remember to add water and the fact that you can buy the humidifier and dehumidifier later on too and have to robot load and unload the water in them it is on a whole different level. So yeah despite the software and some ai training to learn/distinguish some very dirty spots(like dried apple juice or whatever else can become very stick and dries out) the mop is amazing you can actually see the dirt in the container(before it discharges in the drain) despite me never seeing a spec of dust or dirt on the floor. Never will I go back to a sistem that has a station that's not conected to the drain.
