So good! I can relate to the music theory part. I am super motivated to learn it when I come across a chord progression and don't understand why it sound amazing. That definitely motivates me more than learning a bunch of theory and then figuring out how to make it sound good 🎸
Same! Now that I have a channel, whenever I learn something new and exciting, I make sure to go back and analyze it. That way I can play it in any key and teach it to others. Thanks for sharing!
Hey this was good. Yeah I like how you said self directed instead of self taught. I feel the same.. As far as learning, I was opposite. I learned hard barre chords before I learned triads. I’m dedicating this year to learning them up and down the fret board and all the different chord frames from your book as well. I appreciate your channel because you made it a little easier to follow along. Now I feel like I’m leaving beginner entering into intermediate level. You are much appreciated 🙏🏾🎸😎
