So fired up - I just created my very first Google ad following your video. I am shocked it was as easy to create as it was. Can't believe it's taken me this long to get on this bus. Thank you Jason! I'll let you know how it goes...
@@TheGoswitzTeamRealtors I’m still running them! They don’t do awesome, but I haven’t taken the time to tweak them and I only pay when they get clicked, so I am happy to keep them up! 😂🤷🏻♀️
Thank you so much for this video. I noticed a drop in my GMB views. I'm not sure why that happened. I decided to run an ad to help keep my business showing on Map/Search and this video was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!!!!
ty for this video. my business has been experiencing a decline in traffic because we are extremely old school and now are needing to take classes on how to market online. this was the 1st video that came up and it was very informative.
Hi Jason, do you have an updated version of this video showing how to create Google local search ads? I was trying to follow you step by step but Google changed the local search again... thanks!
Sorry about that. Just incase this video didn't resolve your account issues there is still hope. I have suffered this before. Thanks for the support I got from XSOLVE.1
First off, just wanted to say, Love your energy and personality!!!! Watched whole video even though it wasn’t what I was on RU-vid for!! Just a small question, lol! What if there’s only like 6-7 businesses total of my type of small business. Is there a need to pay if I show up in the top 10 for free? I haven’t opened or setup my business yet, still looking for a location, but should be up and running in the next 3 months 🙏🙏🙏 Only issue is that in my business, when I type up a search near me, there’s like 5 that are exactly what I will have, and then like 15-20 that are in the same general category, but no where near of what mine is. For instance… If I’m opening up a indoor putt putt, only 4 of them are the same business, but sometimes, golf courses, and driving ranges will rank above the putt putt, but it’s no where near that type of business. Sry if this is confusing, hopefully it’s somewhat clear. Thx and awesome video. Either way, I still might do the paid ads. If I’m making enough to cover over head total, then I might try the minimum cost first to see if it makes a difference. I’m thinking also that if other people in the business category are also paying, who would rank higher in the paid ads. I’m thinking the person who ranks higher organically will be the one who ranks higher in the paid ads as well, I’m just guessing.
Ads are auction models... so it's based essentially on who else is competing to advertise to the same people and what they're willing to pay. I'd lean on the recommendations Google makes as to what your budget should look like at minimum in order to get your ad seen
What’s the difference between these and the regular Google Ads? I’ve been running campaign google Ads for 14 years. Thanks for making these videos by the way. It was really easy to run these new ads
Hi Jason. Question: When I start a local campaign within the google platform, I don't see the Keyword and Distance options. So, to target certain Keywords for local campaign, do I have to create it through GMB? btw.. this is awesome content. You have a new follower :)
The differences you're seeing could be the difference between building in "expert mode" vs. what used to be called "express mode," now called "smart mode." Basically, smart mode is the simplified version w/ fewer options. It sounds like you're actually in the expert mode. As you move through the screens, the option should appear. I'll have to try to create a future version walking through those steps. However, you may be able to watch some of my other Google Ads videos to help for the time being.
Hey man, love your content, thanks for sharing such good info with us. Wanted to ask a simple question. I'm a simple little man in plumbing but it seems might be expensive. How much do you think it would cost me to get about 40 conversions a month. Really lookin forward to you answer, thank man 👍.
For these, your'e really paying for impressions. Google effectively promises to optimize for clicks, but the actual cost is tied to what it takes just to show your ads
Thank you for the video, however, I have a question. When I did this, it doesnt give me an option to use expert mode. Am I missing something or is that not an option when you take this path.
Since, with this ad, your choosing intent audiences and not keywords specifically… Google is automatically subbing in and out the best keywords… That is, assuming you built this campaign in the express ads portal like what the video demonstrated
Hey, this is great info and opened my eyes up to another aspect of Google Ads. Could you tell me please where I would find the analytics for my ad in a Google Local Search Campaign?
To be clear, negative keywords are the terms and/or phrases you DON'T want to trigger your ad. Hypothetically, if I wanna rank on "looking for an agent" types of searches, I may remove keywords like "homes for sale" or "rentals."
Yes and yes... your CPC depends on competition, level of interested folks in your marketplace, and the quality of your ad-copy and stuff like that. The lower the cost, the better. The higher, the more budget you'll need to allocate to get more clicks
Ensuring you're logged into the Google account w/ which your GBP is associated, Google search the name of your business. That will trigger the new "control panel." Tap Advertise and follow the prompts from there.
Hi. I'm new to all this, so my question might be strange to some. I'm wondering if the ads that will definitely affect the traffic of my GMB profile will also affect my position in Google search over time (I mean the time when I don't have paid advertising)?
In my “experience,” i’ve had clients running these Google business page ads and I have literally seen their organic listing situated directly below the paid ad. This is a great question, by the way. The ad is something entirely additional to the organic listing. Does that make sense?
@@JasonPantana In my opinion, it makes sense that paid ads will make the organic listing better later. Because the business itself will have greater contact with clients, greater interaction on both sides.
Depends on the objective... if the goal is only to get clicks for example, then sure. If your goal, however is leads, for instance, then you'll wanna have a CPA (cost per action) style of reporting in addition to CTR. This sounds silly... but it's like football in that you're playing for 1st downs until you're in scoring position. So CTR is like playing for a first-down, if that makes sense.
Google phased out… You now use the Google control panel. Simply search the name of your business in google search, assuming you’re logged into the Google account with which your Google business profile is associated, and Google well display various tools to manage and edit your listing.
@@JasonPantana Is there any service or something like that, where you can see what is popular now, I want to open a store, but I haven't decided on the assortment yet
