Making good gains over here as a natty. I recently started my training with bands. I can't do handstands all that well (training with wall) but doing those wallHPU and doing overhead shoulder presses with bands after are a shoulder killer. It's gonna take me longer to progress (tiring myself out by doing both at the same time) but I'm getting more mass and functionality which something I'm beginning to enjoy. I use rings and im also beginning pylometrics as well. I want to be athletic and have fun at the same time. I get excited when i watch content like this, it's like playing a fighting game and getting all pumped to do the same lol.

the human body was built for these types of workouts, i go to the gym and see its pretty much one dimensional where everyone looking like lame ass depressed robots, a major turn-off Id rather stick to my roots and incorporate more outdoor exercises using my own body, bars or bands. Peace God.

definitely in to the functional movements but I will never knock another's grind. Even though you consider it to be "lame ass" it's a hell of a lot better than sitting on a fat ass resulting from doing nothing. Respect.....

Been looking at getting some resistance bands but everywhere I read on the internet people say you can't build muscle without lifting free weights. Guess the internet is wrong. This video speaks volumes! Thanks.

I know that takes an incredible amount of strength to do. I have only seen one guy able to do exercises like that from Jamiaca. Those exercises are insane. A true athlete.

Hey @calisthenicskingz, I am really loving your videos man and your training, I mainly spend most time in the gym doing the power lifts and hypertrophy type exercises with my coaches in my sports team, I am really want to start a new challenge with body weight exercises on bars like you do in your vids, Please answer this though, 1. Did you get in this good shape and strength using just this type of training obviously along with cardio? 2. Have you used it for fat loss as well as muscle gain?

Some amazing stuff there. I know you must be very busy and get lots of questions but I was hoping you would answer one of mine. I'm about to start using the Power Pushup 2 using an elevated stance and pushup handles, with the extra resistance would you say it can be as good as bench presses or even better? I've always thought pushups were better because of the total body involvement but there was always that problem about adding meaningful resistance. Thank you in advance.

I applaud any man who puts this much time and effort into anything constructive but how is tension bands any different from weights? After all all weight added to the body that is not body weight is equivalent to weights, no? If not, how so? Either way thinking about buying bands online to further my workout plan. Also, from the number of videos I've been watching it seems as if working out is not necessarily about the workout plan but rather the routine that works for you. I see different people doing different things and all essentially coming out with similar results. Have fun with your workout and you're more likely to workout, which will result in the end. Great video, thank you.

Yes. Resistance bands combined with calisthenics, like all the bar work he was doing and resistance band assisted push-ups, can build an incredible physique, strength, and endurance. If done correctly, resistance bands can really kick your ass. It may not seem like it at first, but it sneaks up on you and before you know it your muscles are burning and you're gasping for breath.

Very amazing. Almost prone to zero injuries. Weights are dangerous and tendons snap when you think you got the load of the weight.

Yes even some own body exercises are not safe. Weights can be used safely. You just have to adjust to your body and use precautions. Some exercises grind your joints over time do to improper form. I mean the list goes on, but just avoid something that does not feel good and natural.

i use safety tubes as well, and it's great, they work like a charm, the muscle burns like hell ! :) if you want to get ripped, use them.

I built myself a jungle gym ladder into the ceiling of my patio cover. Doing laps across the ladder is the best workout ive ever done. It engages so many muscles naturally. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I built. It for less than $30

I want to start with calisthenics since I´ve seen your vids, Hanibal's and Meckanimal's... Those got me inspired, especially your's with the bands... I´m not a total beginner, I can perform Push Ups, and Pull Ups, and even a fewer Muscle Ups with good form. But I want to know about the proper progression for calisthenics... And about the time between sets... Which is the best? Perform sets without a rest between, or do the rest times? And how many sets and reps should I do for a start? Thanks!
