Things are rockin' and rollin' as planting season fast approaches! We've got all hands on deck maintaining equipment, working on repairs and upgrades to the John Deere and various implements. Of course, there's always time for fun, though, when the work is done!

Another great video guys. Y’all are one of the best family, deer camp, regular folk, real world huntin type folks. Keep it real and keep ‘em coming

Thanks for that! No tuxes and red carpet photo ops here... we'll stick with the camo and work boots in the woods! Appreciate your comment!

Keep fighting the good fight, Corey, and stop in when you make it to camp next time. Haven't seen your uncle but once or twice all summer, hope he's doing well.

Another great video guys. Good to see everyone pitching in to get camp ready for another season of fun and adventure. Lots of bugs , be careful of ticks. I got Lymes 6 years ago and it’s changed my life, not in a good way. Please make sure to use bug spray with something for ticks. Lymes is a game changer. Keep up the good work!

It's certainly a disease that's not to be taken lightly from what I understand. Thanks for the comments and tagging along with us!

Great video, this is the type of stuff I love! It’s so simple to edit the videos to show everything working as it should, but that’s not life. Thanks for showing the fixes to the JD and the disc. I would love to see a video about your food plots again. It’s been a while since you updated us on your plots. As a aspiring food plotter, I would love to know what you plant, when you spray, what you spray, etc. I read your pieces in whitetails magazines. Very well put. I look to you as a person to look up to with your food plots. Wonderful job Kris and team. Thank you!

Really appreciate your comments Justin. We'll have an update on the food plots for ya in the next video. Hopefully you're on track to turn those aspirations into reality with some plots of your own! As you can probably tell, we plant Whitetail Institute seed for the most part with a complimentary mix of corn and soybean from a local supplier, Pine Creek Seed Farm www.pinecreekseed.com/ Knowing what to plant, when to plant, fertilize, spray, etc. is all dependent upon your potential plot location, soil type and to what extent you can work the soil. Let us know if you have any questions and we can connect offline.

@@NCPAOutdoors exactly, I’m doing my best. I’ve been using whitetail seed as well. I’m expecting to do another soil test soon to really get a hold on what my plots need to succeed. I’m hoping to get some results that can point me in the right direction. I’m in the same boat when it comes to my “orchard” spraying schedules and fertilizing. I will certainly keep in mind that I could contact you for some help. Thanks a lot!

Love that the old disc, brush hog, and JD keeps chugging along ...with a little help.. That trap shootn champ is getting a bit cocky lol...Tell him Jimmy Big Time says congrats....but 18/25 is 72 percent.. barely a passing grade! I guess its just like the ol bear analogy ...you just have to be faster than your buddy ...great stuff guys!

Haha, will do! I guess maybe I (Kris) shouldn't have been intentionally missing all those birds!

@@NCPAOutdoors lol... was wondering about that...but i guess as older wiser shooters, I guess thats our prerogative to blame our misses on intentionally giving the bird a warning shot...
