It's an Onan. I designed that rectangular aluminum epoxy potted battery charger dohickumus many years ago. It sits there with cooling fins below it, in the cooling air flow. Engine was well established before I started working there. May have even been built in Fridley, Mn, maybe Huntsville Alabama. Much later, they sold the engine to a Canadian outfit to make engines for a few years. The EPA killed that engine. Be careful and don't take the engine apart unless needed. It is old world. Carefully machined and assembled and designed to be rebuilt, not thrown away. Depending on the age, there wasn't a Chinese part in it.
