bought my 2nd bottle of the 15 at christmas, along with a bottle of the 8, and i agree with you on the 15, but was disappointed with the 8yo, and to anyone thinking of buying the 8 i'd say go for the 12 instead for just a few quid more. GL

I have a hard time deciding if I like the 12 or the 15 better. 15 is intense, but it’s hard to beat the 12 if you want a smooth yet heavily sherried experience. 15 has too much tanins which I enjoy just not everyday.

7kkkkk!!!! Thumbed it up! Unfortunately Glenallachie 15 in Az USA is now $135 a bottle…disappointing Also a bummer I was able to get one last year on offer for $95 and imo it was much thinner and less deep and richly textured as the old bottle from 2+ years ago….still good but it didn’t hit all the marks for me as prior years

Gonna buy this one again this year. Still have a closed 12 in my collection. For now for me, a Craigellagie 13 in the class.

Lovely stuff from Glenallacie. Its been a while i finished mij 15y bottle. Had a few 12y. I have a feeling the 12y went down in quality a bit past year? Anyone else an opinion about it? Not sure. Maybe its just the effect of the first bottle surprise wauw effect and then you get used more to the flavour?

I had a bottle a couple of years ago and it was my least favourite whisky of the year - far too sweet. It’s kind of put me off the brand but wonder if I should return and try it again.

Hi Alan, Love your channel. I’ve only got and tried the cask strength Glenallachie. How does the 15yr compare to the CS?

There both great the 10cs is just a big sherry cask strength hit of intensity the 15 is much more subtle and you can sit down and pick it apart...both wonderful....😛😜
