@Faye of the Feywild I dont think its means to detract from you at all, there are a number of sensible and generally recognized genders and their accompanying spectrums among the LGBTQ+ community, but then there are the more intense individuals who make up fringe, generally unuseful, hyper customized *genders* to define themselves with, You know? the kinda of people who string together 20 semi random latin roots or the ones who just call themselves *wolfkin* or *Dragonkin* I think those are the individuals this joke is aimed at. Although it I can see how it can be construed as problematic, because the sort of people who do this hyper-genderization of themselves are often some combination of young, insecure and or ignorant and targeting them could be especially hurtful because of there vulnerable status, even if the validity of validity of there super customized gender is questionable.
