Getting into Medical School with a Low MCAT 

Thank you for watching! I am happy to have been some help to you. I could say "you will pass everything & you will get through it if you just persevere"... but I never liked hearing that. So instead, I will tell you everything will work out exactly how it is supposed to for your betterment as a human being & a future doctor. It may not be what you want or hoped for. For example, I definitely did not want to fail medical school exams & not have a very competitive board score. However, both were exactly what I needed to learn how to be better student, friend, and person.

Congratulations!! The hardest exam I have taken to date is the MCAT so you've already gone through half the battle =) Some of the best medical students that I interacted with were the ones who were parents. I was fortunate because I went to a small undergrad that had more research opportunities than there were science students lol. Buuut my first year of medical school I emailed a bunch of doctors & hospitals in my area & said I am a hard worker who will do anything you need help with just to have the opportunity to work with you. I actually got a couple of responses back & ended up in an amazing research opportunity at a great hospital. So in my experience, be one step ahead & put yourself out there. Be willing to work hard for little in return & people will notice/respect you for it. Start sending emails that you can get off of hospital websites or message doctors directly on LinkedIn. Most people are too scared of the rejection but if you can handle it, you'll be in a great place for some cool opportunities.

@@lifetime_learner I'm taking the MCAT on Saturday.. first time.. you can imagine how incredibly stressful the last few days of prep are.. the only hope I have is in God for a good score. Your video kinda felt like a sign that no matter what I get, God is in control. So thank you.
