My first time paint balling, I was shot straight in the knuckle. When I put my hands up and stepped out of cover, I was shot 3 more times in the chest. It sucked.
BuckeyeFootball i paintball frequently that is one of the most pain full shoots i suggest wearing some type of glove and trying it again also look at some fields where there are more new players to have a better time we all had to get in the sport one way or a another check out my channel for any other questions
AND PROTECT YOUR NECK! Neck shots are the only ones that hurt a good amount. Eventually they're more annoying than painful, but still. Protect your neck and nads.
I was showing this to my classmates because they are coming with me on a paint ball trip and it was so helpful couldn't explain this as great as you could great job
Ian Natsch honestly the paint won't hurt your balls that bad... it is something every new player says sure it will hurt but it is comparable to sitting on em accidentally nothing like getting sack tapped.
Ian Natsch lmao 😂 yes I'm paint balling on Sunday for my bday and I suggested all my guy friends to wear a cup just in case, you can never be to careful
Lol ya ... I have never had a hit I wasn't over in 15 seconds. However I have had heat exhaustion and dehydration and that I was feeling a day later. Main point I wanted to make was to dress appropriately for the weather. People are so afraid of paintballs they put themselves into a potentially dangerous situation.
Oh yeah man, i understand what your trying to get across. Ive been paintballing before, doesnt hurt that bad. I just thought it was funny that you took that little pause inbetween. But liked the video man, keep it up.
Only hit I ever had that actually hurt was like my second or third time going I surrendered a guy and he got scared turned around and shot me with his barrel touching me and I still consider myself lucky because it was only about a half inch below my balls lol but other then that I agree it doesn't hurt at all when you have all that adrenalin in you
I wear my steel toe work boots every time I play still after almost a decade playing... wore sneakers once and I can tell you toe shots hurt!! lol aside from the athletic shirt (I have a Rothco combat shirt) this is pretty much what I wear. I also love Mechanix gloves, especially the MPact gloves, I can barely feel the ball when I get shot in the hand and 9 times out of 10 the ball doesn't even break. GREAT gloves. Plus they're easy to clean.
I remember my first time. I wore like -A fleece -A sweatshirt -A long sleeved Shirt -An Undershirt Eventually in the end it was just a long sleeved shirt and my paper pants hahaha. That round also just happened to be the first time I was ever bunkered. Memories.
Hey.I love your vids. Can you please do the top 10 paintball pistols or secondary weapons.I have a main one but i am searching for a beackup when i am reloding.(you can write it in comments you don't need to make a video
it doesn't hurt that bad. when you get hit like on your leg, it will be like getting slapped on your leg. and its only for 1 or 2 seconds. its quick and is not bad
He has some good points, but let’s be honest most of the people that have been playing for 5+ years wore stuff that would protect us from a bike, I personally wore 5 layers of clothes and a coat, if u want to know what to wear do what u want , yeah u will look like a “noob” if u bundle up if ur playing at a good field it will make it easyier for people to know who to help
ExplosiveReview.. Is it ok if you wear a sports shirt with a sweatshirt?? It's like 30 degrees outside but I have a big bruise in my arm from getting a shot... what do I do I don't have any sort of padding. And I'm going paint ballin today and I have a lot of shirts but I can't find a sports sweatshirt...
I got tactical gear, ie. Tactical shirt (thin and light), BDUs, military grade combat boots, tactical vest (i think its actually a paintball vest too) and a boonie hat. All i need now is something to protect my "pants navy" and i can rent the rest. Does that sounds good to you?
LIKE SERIOUSLY THANK YOU!!!! MY TRIP IS THIS TUESDAY..AND HONESTLY I HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO DO.. but a question...i dont have boots..can i wear a converse!?
+masa kidd they're easily distinguishable from real firearms, unlike airsoft guns (which you might be thinking of) that are designed to be as accurate as possible. they are required to be sold with an orange tip, but even then once it's yours there's no law against you painting the tip black/removing the orange tip.
I've got this huge gash on my forehand and I'm afraid that I'm gonna get shit there. It's starting to scab up and I was thinking covering it with some medical wrap for some extra protection. Anything I can do to protect it other than an extra layer of shirts?
should i get a jousey with shoulder pads and arm pads but no chest pads or back pads or a padded shirt looking one with shoulder and chest and back pads. it's not a long sleeve either... so which one?
i got shot in the nuts on my first time. i bought a cup the second time didn't fit right. so the third time i got a pod holder cause i also always run out of Paintballs. just the pod holder that has 2 extrad, put that in the front like a fanny pack works great and is way more comfortable than a cup.
Thanks I was stressing about what to wear for My first time But now I know. And just to make sure would you say an under armor shirt and a Nike shirt (both long sleeve) would be to hot? Or is that just Fine
Ok, I am going to go low-impact paint balling in a few days and I was wondering if you could critique my choice of apparel. I am going to wear jeans, with sweatpants over them, also a long sleeved under armor shirt with a hoodie over that, a hat, socks, and running shoes. Any help would be appreciated!
One pair of pants should be fine and only wear the hoodie if it's cool enough that you won't over heat too badly. Avoid winter hats in favor of a baseball cap. If it's low impact you will be good. Remember to have fun!!!
my loadout... Head: Football StrapBack Torso: A thin Athletic shirt also a vest. Arms: Empire Arm Sleeves Legs: LongJohns and paintball pants Shoes: some old roshes
Really? I got shot like 5 times in the chest from less than a foot away and a knuckle shot still hurts more. And trust me it was a regular 280 feet per second power marker.
I know this video is a few years old but I'm going to drop this little nugget of knowledge about heat stroke if you get heat stroke and have to take a band aid bus ride to the hospital, we're going to poke you with IVs and thermometers and monitor hook ups , a paintball hurts far less then an IV or God forbid a IO iv you don't know what it is a paramedic drills an iv into the bone because of lack of being able to land an IV usually from you guessed it heat stroke , so here's my advice new players drink plenty of water/ Gatorade, wear light layers so a light hoody and so cheap under armor if you feel off get a ref and take a break , LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!! nobody on the field knows your limit like you do
This applies to any paintball style. For your first time your generally not gonna be right into competitive speedball. This works really for any recball situation.
Put your hands in the air and yell "I'm out I'm out" as loud as you can. That being said I encourage people to stay in even if out of paint as they can still be diversions or flag runners. Most games only last about 10 min so you probably won't need a break mid game. Just remember to always keep your mask down well on the field and put your barrel bag on when you are out or between games.
I've went once, I only wore t-shirt thin jumper and jeans. Didnt hurt much doe when i got hit. Going again this sunday on 9th if i like it again ill have enough money guy my guns idc about protection. (ill get mask of course)
The first time I played, the guns were a bit crappy and so testing, I shot the referee, and then I understood where the wind was going and how fast bullets were. I kept playing then and marked few.
Chra Ihsan it depends on what your wearing. Also if your out in the feild getting your adrenaline and blood pumping it wont hurt that bad. Maybe a little sting. If your cuddled up in the back sitting cold with no adrenaline it will hurt a lot more.
I got hit in the head but it didn't hurt as much, however when I got hit in the ankle it hurt for like the entire day, but didnt really effect my movements. I got shot in the arm and that didnt hurt as much too
+Noah Lowes A normal kick to the sack is usually about 60 pounds of pressure going through your testicles. And they would still not explode. Because every guy has been kicked in the groin at least once. And it's never exploded.
