Doug's question to the Defendants was a good one. JM should have asked it. I bet she would've given her what she originally sued for. The Defendant's response that she was interfering with their creative freedom was entitled, unprofessional & clarified they weren't trying to satisfy the Plaintiff. You don't get creative freedom on other people's content. That was the Plaintiff's project. They needed to produce what she wanted. Period.

Shakira always sits down with video editors/directors because she has a vision and she is hiring them to edit her music videos. There is nothing wrong with an artist to sit down with the editors, who knows she could of hired them again if the vibe was right. it seems in this case the editor had a big ego and thought there way is the only way, when it comes to art you have to be open to suggestions especially if the artist has a vision

Creativity is hard to meet in the middle on but a partial refund makes sense for the long turnaround time. One thing I noticed though, before the judge asked her to slow down she had a Caribbean accent that totally disappeared by the interview at the end lol

I think this case is fake. I think this was all for publicity, and I think they both were in on it. The reason I believe this is because how they smiled at each other when they came out. Also, if you look at the facial expression of the defendant after the case he is still smirking and has a look as if he knows something we don’t. Also both plaintiff and defendant straight promoted and named the artist, and played a video on national TV.
