My gf's ex is the creator of the deluge, its weird seeing the production models as she has a prototype with an 8x8 key layout. I was just wondering if its possible to pull the actual midi files off the instrument😅
Wow . This is brilliant. You need more views. I am curious how you deal with kits so things line up between deluge and your daw. Also, I noticed that you had 4 tracks on your screen at some point but when you put the SD card back, there were only 3 on the deluge. Or did I not see that correctly?
So with kits I set sensible defaults but you may have to experiment to get it right, depending on your Deluge patches vs your DAW patches. (Something I might be able to facilitate in future though - wouldn't be too hard to grab the samples used in a kit in a way that they can be dragged into a drum plugin). On your second point, I'm annoyed I didn't do this when recording, but if I'd scrolled up you'd have seen there were now four tracks instead of 3! You can see that the colours on the Deluge match the last three rows in the app.
@@michaelforrest I suppose there are loads of iPad DAWs and iPAdOS has a good file manager these days. The iPad and Deluge are a good fit because they are both highly portable and battery powered, so brilliant for songwriting on the move…
@@hvhvgitaar I had a look into it this morning but the problem is the Apple XML library is not available on iOS so I'd have to do quite a lot of work to port it over. Maybe one day...
