I love videos like these, mostly because I like to see things in detail, fix and touch up things on cars myself. It's the little things that makes the piece complete.
Ok first off all people who gave Kyle's videos a thumbs down truly have no soul. Kyle the Fairlane is a beautiful car. I know this video is from a few years ago plus I saw your videos of your second Fairlane. God Bless you and your lovely Wife Crystal😊
That car is MINT!! Seriously, that Fairlane deserves an award it's a really nice classic. Great job on cleaning it up where it needed some attention and giving it a "fresh from the factory" look!
This is the second video I see of your beautiful classic...However, like so many factory stock old cars ive seen, people often never bother to put the original chrome wiper blades back on. I hope you do that sometime in the future Kyle, especially since your Ford is original right down to the optional spoked hubcaps...
It's fun to see what kind of car you bought for yourself. My first car was a '69 Ford Maverick. Ford has a great gift for building simple, economical cars that are incredibly fun to drive. I hope you have fun driving it and don't just take it to shows. A car like that deserves to be driven frequently.
i'd just also like to say i loved when u filmed the tv part too; I also liked the way you took off everyone on tv heard that beautiful exhaust. You did a great job on tv too buddy. Keep it up
Awesome video, that Fairlane is the nicest one I have ever seen in a long time I once had a 1964 Fairlane white way back in the day was a great car and once I move back south I will look for another old car to enjoy.
Great car. It's amazing how many parts are on a street legal car & how much work goes into restoring one. I have a desert buggy & it seems like an endless supply of parts coming through the mail & I don't even have a hood, trunk, glass, dash, interior, trim etc ect. lol Looks like you are having a great time.
absolutely gorgeous Fairlane, Kyle! Your Fairlane and my 65 Mustang should roll together to some cruise ins sometime if I ever get it down there to North Carolina.
Kyle and Christal, great job guys & a great car. Well done. Please keep us dated on your progress plus it would be great to see some open road action, the Fairlane running wide open. 5/5 PS Christal as a first video on RU-vid you did just fine.
Must be really hard to find a girlfriend that can talk you through her boyfriends car like this. Awesome job with the video, Christal ! I need to find a german girl like you :D
Kyle did really get lucky I'll tell yah was already painted when he got it all he had to do was the crome trims engine bay trunk as well as the crome stuff in the car still put a lot of hard work for such little things looks great i like how you did a quick take off at the end so the people can hear that engine lol
Your fairlane looks awesome dude I have always wanted a fairlane ever since I was 7 years old I'm 15 now about to get my permit but I want a fairlane for my first car
Kyle, if you ever had the time you should show your car off in the Woodward Dream Cruise that takes place in Michigan. It's every August around the 17th. Classic cars all over the place.
I sincerely hope that since this video was made, you've invested in a couple fender aprons! They do a good job of protecting your paint from damage from things like tools, parts, chemicals, and belt buckles!
Love the video man, I just purchased a 65 fairlane and it has the same interior as yours, my exterior is white though. I put a new steering column in it disk brakes all around and shocks! Where did you find all your window seals? I’m having trouble finding them. You’ve done some amazing work!
@cupramac No, it isn't a cursed lego set, but there are frame-off restorations done to antique cars, when each part is removed for close examination, then reconditioned, repaired, or replaced according to its condition, before putting the car back together.
beautiful car kyle u really did a great job buddy. Your girlfriend did a good job filming this too. You really did prep this car got some rubber pieces replaces, windshield replaced even spray shined the car and it was a good idea to remove that paint off the crome of that grill good job buddy. Keep it up. :-)
Hey Kyle.....i bought a 4 Door 65 Fairlane a couple weeks ago and now i'm lookin for Help. Where do i get Door weatherstrippings? I can find a lot for 2 doors or earlier models but not for mine. Can you help me out there? Would be great! Thank buddy. Greez from Austria Thomas
looks really good, i like to see people that actualy take care of the condition and doesn't let them become rust buckets. Ive always wanted a Chevy Impala 1960. Do you know how much they cost today?
Hey dude where did you get your visors? Can ya remember for me please? I need new visors for my 64 and I have found some for about $50. bucks. Surely there are some out there cheaper than that right?
Kyle, I hope you and Christal are still together, with the car! Both are very nice. So, where did you get the battery topper, and the dash trim refinished? I need these for my 1964 Fairlane... it has only 64K original miles. It was owned by a Movie Production Co. among others, and was last seen in "Elvis and Annabell" 2010. Everything looks new except the dash trim. Thank you for your help! Eddie
