What year is your Honda Rebel? I have 2021 Rebel 500 and the oil fill position is not the same as yours and cannot insert a pump.

2019 and I'm pretty sure there the same motor. You have to wiggle it in a little if I remember correctly.

I put in too much oil and it blows white smoke, if I empty it will the problem be fixed?

Not sure, some motorcycles will burn off excess oil. In either case I would get your oil to the right level as soon as possible.
