UPDATE: We collected our daughter's passport on 17 March 2021. Total turnaround time 3.5months. You do not need to make an appointment anymore to COLLECT the passport - you may collect on Mondays and Wednesdays only, between 8:30am and 12:30am. Good luck everyone ❤️❤️❤️
FAQs Answers: 1. We did not make an appointment to collect the forms - my husband collected within the consulates civic service opening hrs. 2. Courier - you book as if you would a normal service 😊 give them the embassy address. Very important you give DHL the full name of your baby so that they take the right application. Ask DHL to confirm once they have your child's application. Embassy will fill out the way bill for the destination address in PTA 3. Hi Cathy, can I just ask why you guys waited a day before you had DHL pick up the application forms from the consulate? And did you mention to the consulate that you will be using DHL so they are aware? Thanks
Hi Eleanor- you could absolutely arrange for the courier to collect the same day, we just finished quite late and figured the courier wouldn't make it to the consulate by the time they closed. We did tell them that we would send a courier to collect the application- but didn't specify DHL. The person we dealt with at the consulate said no problem and requested that the courier just use your child's full name when requesting the application. Hope this helps and good luck!
