I did do something like this for Ed Thorne, it's called "recording guitar for a RU-vid'. No electrics on that though. Re use of effects it depends completely on the project. Usually I consider effects to be part of the guitar sound so I'll export with effects and actually sometimes record with effects. It's usually not the mixer's job to make those decisions.

I can register with PPL as a performer on the track, but if you mean a writing royalty, no. Only on occasions where I'm writing a specific, identifiable, important part and it's agreed in advance.
