8:00 "you realize you're the bad guy now" my brother in Christ would you rather kill him or let the dung eater "defile" him and implant a seedbed curse? those are the only two ways to get his weapons.
stop the dung eater misinfo 😭, he wants to defile the whole world to disrupt the golden order. The omens and other crucible races are enslaved and abused by the order, they have their horns cut and are mutilated at birth. The dungeater wants everyone to be 'cursed' like the omens so everyone can be the same and not abused by the golden order. 🥲
Ive been playing as a wretch with nothing but the large club and its fun af you get to fully experience every boss and by staying low level you get lots of summons for bosses and invasions
Honestly, the best thing coming out of the dlc will be the Bandai Namco logo being changed My eyes can finally rest at night Edit: dont look at the replies
@23:50 & that, right there is exactly why i find using fist type short-ranged weapons to be a special kind of torture in this game: like sure, they hit hard when they land but you have to basically stay glued to the enemy/boss to land successive hits on them. When a given boss is exponentially larger than you & zipping around their arena, traveling many times further & faster than you can (like every dragon, & about 80% of the enemies in the game), it just becomes incredibly frustrating to try & keep up w/them, & for me it just sucks the fun right out of the fights. I prefer fast attack-speed & ranged weapons in almost every souls' game, *especially* if I were a bit rusty & coming back just to sharpen my reflexes like Charlie is here. There are exceptions that are decent/fun hand weapons, like the katar, bloodhound claws, & Veteran' prosthesis specifically, but besides those few - no thanks. I *despise* pretty much every flail for the same reason. I do enjoy several of the short-swords, & a few daggers despite their range-issues. There are a handful of cool, entertaining axes, but as far as fun, powerful quality builds go; I'll take kitanas, long-swords, collosal great-swords, psythes, curved-swords, halberd's, spears or staffs (in that order) any day of the weak over the dvmb little fist weapons like the casteus. 🤮
Not sure if you went down to weeping penninsula yet, but I think what would really make this build shine is the assassin's crimson dagger talisman. Health back on all those critical hits would be huge
Can't wait for June 21 for the DLC to reveal that Miquella truly was benevolent and altruistic and not a manipulative narcissist bent on world domination, would love to see the reaction to all these "Miquella is Griffith" mfs.
I did a Luigi build for my dlc character. I only used shit Luigi would use like wind or gooigi(mimic tear) and had to use the only green helmet in the game. And the best part of that helmet is you can still see the mustache
29:50 people say that and generalize all of sorcery as if its not just like 3 spells that are OP as hell. You could say the same thing and say katanas are too easy and base it off just rivers of blood and hand of malenia
I finished up to Renalla last night, too. But it took me 3 days/18 hours playtime cuz I did all the mini dungeons as well. Did a run with fists and they are such strong stagger machines.
Can’t wait to see how many people are using kung fu in PvP. (I’m gonna use it the whole of PvP for the first few days gonna look like something out of cobra Kai)
5:00 I assume he meant Placidusax, which I'm glad there's appreciation of him, he such a cool fight, his nuke is sick, phase 2 is cool, it's alot like Radahn, he disappears than comes at you in a storm cloud, which is the weapon art of the weapon you get from him, and "phase 3" is great, he does he's usual storm cloud attack, but than after landing starts blowing fire that turns into a lazer, which looks awesome because you can see the recoil from the lazer when it turns from fire breath to lazer, gives it much more powerful look to it.
i also started a completely new game when i was at my girlfriends house a few days ago. this save has honestly been the closest ive been to 100 percenting the game which is surprising because my main save file has 900+ hours and this new save is currently at 41 hours. cannot wait for the new dlc
I’m close to finishing the game and that sword at 7:46 the one you get near the start of the game is the same one I have used the whole game no other weapon
out of any fist weapon to use... he uses the one without bleed.. and he doesnt have a bleed or frost ash of war. play however you want, but not having either is missing out on MASSIVE dps. a bleed weapon enchanted with frost goes crazyyy.
I am not a souls player but man I'm so happy and hype for all the elden ring fans y'all have waited patiently and deserve this I hope y'all enjoy this dlc
I’m sad that I went into NG+ on my toon but then stopped playing, and haven’t played much since the first couple weeks after release…. I feel like I need to go thru the game again because I want to play the dlc day 1, but I can’t remember where to go Or what to do ahahaha
Charlie: "A lot of runs" Also Charlie: *Doesn't know you can attack off the left side of Torrent, doesn't use pouch slots, remembers zero movesets*. Classic.
U know just got the game yesterday 8 hours deep on rennala the game is so fun also the dragon flames are meant to be dodged with the horse you see it charging and u run (at least that’s how I do it)
