Getting the body of the 1965 Mustang to fit the 2015 S550 rolling chassis part 16

It is a big day for the appearance of progress on the Mustang build. With a bit more trimming we get even closer to getting the body all the way onto the S550 chassis. I think the end of drilling spot welds is getting near. Some decisions will have to be made as to how this car will look exactly.

I see you have jumped on the Mustang Resto Mod bandwagon!!!! I thought had a little more restoration originality than that. Vtuned, B is for build, Westin Champlin, now you!! You dont need to copy those people do you for your channel to be good????

The LAST pic shown in this video looks mean; wheels & tires sticking out and YOU did it all. I really love how the two cars bonded together so well as you (already) knew they would and we hoped with confidence! I always feel like we are the fifth wheel holding up progress. You would be able to get much further without explaining yourself along the way. (NO I can't apologize because I love it all too much)! I think it very impressive that you are actually joining both cars rather than be a 'framer' and hang the new sheetrock on the old walls (if you follow what I'm trying to say)! that was a real issue back in the 60's and 70's, then for a while they started doing things to prevent it, then in the 2000's Ford said "what, our trucks aren't rusting? well, we gotta put a stop to that" then went about doing things specifically to make their vehicles rust out. Like using duct tape to cover holes in the rockers (which falls off the first year) putting water absorbing foam in the rear fenders (which causes them to rust away in 4 years) and not putting any protection on the cab corners.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of this build, but in the meantime, whatever you are working on is always interesting. I had to click on it and stop it just to get rid of the damn thing.

@ryanworkman5229 4 года назад
I'm unsure if this channel will ever get the number of subs of some of those other channels. No stockpiles of brand new parts being thrown together and welded up, just secondhand parts fixed up with more secondhand parts, and bolted onto yet more secondhand or salvaged parts. As much as I like to watch frankenstein coming together, some people won't. This is the proper way to recycle old car parts.

I am also installing a Coyote engine in a Mustang convertible. Mine is a 64 and a half that has been in my family for 40 years. I'm going about it a little easier than you are. I installed a Roadster Shop Spec Chassis designed to accept the Ford Power Module Coyote third generation engine and 10 speed automatic transmission package from Ford Performance Products. The RS chassis takes care of the space needed in the engine compartment, adds modern suspension with steering rack, coil over shocks, and a 9" Strange rear end with a 4 link. Much easier than cutting up the 64 body and the donor car body, then trying to marry them up. The handling of the RS Chassis is awesome.

I live close to Lemont and have a 2014 Suburban that needs some body work. I have been watching your videos for a while now and and you definitely do things right. If you want some work let me know.
